These Are The Best Horror Films Of 2017 The: Split
Plot: Average, interesting, put me on edge at best. Had a few holes.
Characters: Better dialogue and characterisation for girls needed
Acting: Pretty good
Cinematography: Mood was average of a horror film
Fan Rating: 5/10
Recommended? : You won't miss out on much if you don't watch it, but recommended if you're looking for a unique plot and character representation.
It (2017)
Plot: Great
Characters: Sometimes felt unnecessary
Acting: Villains like Pennywise, bully and abusive dad were really good, some other good characters were great but sometimes it felt superficial
Cinematography: Good mood but CGI was too obvious to enjoy
Fan Rating: 6/10
Recommended? : It wasn't too special, was slightly disappointed that it didn't live up to its hype, but the watch is recommended, perhaps with a friend.
Get Out
Plot: NOT WHAT I EXPECTED AT ALL, the writing was done very well. The start is a little slow pacing but a good build-up, patience is worth it.
Characters: Good believable characters and relationships
Acting: Skilled and professional. Felt like they were real people.
Cinematography: It was good, some parts felt a little bland but mostly engaging.
Fan Rating: 9/10
Recommended? : Definitely. Everyone should watch it at least once.
It comes at night
Plot: Interesting post-apocalyptic World which isn't superficial, puts you on edge. Ambiguous ending.
Characters: Clear and detailed, very relevant to plot
Acting: Great
Cinematography: Very bleak
Fan Rating: 5/10
Recommended? : I didn't realise it was the end of the movie when the credits rolled. Too many things left unanswered, too anticlimactic but leaves you thinking. Put me on the edge of my seat a couple times. Some argue the movie is a waste of time to watch, others loved it.
Happy Death Day
Plot: Generic premise but it's quite good for what it is. More of a mystery thriller. Deeper analysis reveals a few unnoticeable holes but overall a nice movie to watch for older teens. Funny, sad, and puts you on edge.
Characters: Good characters, sometimes irrational
Acting: Great
Cinematography: Great
Fan Rating: 8/10
Recommended? : Yes. Not too deep philosophy but deep enough to keep you interested throughout the movie.
The Babysitter
Plot: Good, funny, creepy, almost heartwarming, keeps you on edge and interested
Characters: good stereotypes but good character development too
Acting: Good
Cinematography: Great
Fan Rating: 9/10
Recommended? : A definite yes if you like comedy as a genre too or have a sense of humour and want to be scared.
Better Watch Out
Plot: Unexpected and strange but good
Characters: Fit the story well
Acting: Acting was okay but the kids voice cracks cracked me up
Cinematography: Good
Fan Rating: 8/10
Recommended? : Yes, especially if you're getting ready for Christmas but haven't gotten over Halloween yet. Good to watch after The Babysitter

Split was not good. It was a drag. Whilst James McAvoy was brilliant, everyone else wasnt.
It was a cinematic masterpiece. Many people find jump scares cheap and lousy, but a horror movie is intended to scare, and they do. It was also very unsettling the way they portrayed Pennywise.
Jordan Peele is a God, and I wont be told otherwise. Get Out is just one of his brilliant creations.
Life was great, because as the video said, it combines films such as The Thing and Alien. Both of these films have sets that are mysterious to the average viewer, making them very tense and weary.
The Girl with all the Gifts was disliked by most, because it is different. It isnt the average supernatural horror movie and its a new take on horror and ethical issues together.
Annabelle: Creation was exactly as expected, if youre looking for an easy to watch, easy to understand jumpy movie, this is the one for you.
Happy Death Day was something cool and new, and it had a very good twist that rescued the fake ending.

After watching this video, I went to watch life. I'm absolutely livid at the world for not hyping up such an awesome and great movie. I mean like seriously. that alien grew from a micro-organism to a freaking cross breed between a starfish and an octopus. humans normally have either brains or muscles. this thing excels in both, which makes it completely frightening, and a formidable creature. The ending makes me believe there's gonna be a sequel. at least that's what I'm hoping for.

Umm. Lake Bodom isn't based on an urban legend, but to a real life murders that took place in Finland in 1960. It's actually one of the most famous unsolved murder mystery here. So the film is obviously Finnish, and dear god that narrator butchered the directors name, which is Taneli Mustonen. All in all, the movie isn't that great, very basic teenage slasher film imho.

none of those movies are as good as was horror movies in the 70's or 80's, like THE EXORCISTE, or THE OMEN, Carry, all Haloween, THE SHINNING, Nighmare on elms streets, the first EVIL DEAD, the thing, Prince of darkness, In the mouth of Madness. etc, those ARE horror movies, not the piles of shits full of lame Jumpscares and shit we see today!

For those saying Get Out is overrated, it's. not.
The fuzz about it it that it takes you to a real journey. You have no idea what's going on until the pieces falls together. Usually horror movies are so predictable. Similar plots, you already know what's next. Boring.

There are some Horrific Youtubers - from bullies to scammers! That would make an interesting list but you would probably be sued!
The worst horror I ever watched, years ago was MARTYRS. I wish that I hadn't watched it to be honest.
Happy and safe viewing everyone.

I googled The Devil's Candy, and it said it came out in 2015. I liked Demonic (2016, The Conjuring 2 (2016, but i didn't like The Void (2016. I liked Baskin (2015, and A Dark Song (2016. For this year, 2018, I await both Cadaver, and also the new version of Halloween.

Get Out not only was shit as a horror movies, it was the most insulting movie ive seen in my life. White people wanting to be black? really? that movies was the dirtiest pieces of brainwashing liberal propaganda ive ever seen. Typical liberal vomit, honestly.
