Why Bruce Banner Can't Turn Into The Hulk In Infinity War

Oh, when he got back to Earth Loki didn't want to betray himself as Hulk anymore because Tony (Who know how well the Hulk fights/smash) was hyping Hulk up in front of Dr. Strange and Loki immediately realized he will not betray himself as Hulk good enough and will be put on Blast.
However, Thor did say Half of the population on the ship survived. So maybe Hulk and the Lady (cant think of he name yet from Ragnarok) are with them protecting them.
Just something i think makes plenty of sense

Hulk and Thanos are like two lobsters fighting for a spot in the dominance hierarchy. They darted at one another very aggressively, but Thanos was ultimately the victor. He didn't dare stand up to anybody, even previously conquered enemies were intimidating to him. This was not the same Hulk that we once knew. But it's not too late. Hulk! You need to sort yourself out, bucko. Stand up straight with your shoulders back, and clean your bloody room for Christ's sake.

In Thor Ragnarok, the Hulk got to live a full life for years. He got to have a life beyond Hulk smash. As much as he loves to smash, he now sees that he is nothing but a tool do the Avengers keep boxed up until they need him. He has shown so little respect for his contributions that Bruce Banner won't even call him by name, he's the other guy but when he needs him oh, Banner has the nerve to call him buddy? Hulk is already too immature to understand that he has to share his body with Banner, how the hell is he ever going to learn that when Banner doesn't understand that he has to share his body what the Hulk?

In IW, Hulk gets beaten down by Thanos, teleported away back to Earth, and lives to tell what happened AS BRUCE BANNER, not the Hulk. If you recall Thor Ragnarok, Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk for 2 years, but doesn't remember anything about what he did as the Hulk. So why is it that in IW, Banner can remember fighting Thanos while in Ragnarok, he doesn't remember anything about Sakaar or fighting Thor? (Not my theory- props go to others on YouTube who already came up with it)

I think its because of the budget tbh. they already poured a shit ton of money into infinity war, and the Hulk is basically the most expensive protagonist to put into a movie.
If you want another possibility, it could also be because the Hulk is sick of being treated as a weapon for Banner and the other Avengers. Ragnarok showed that the Hulk is a completely different person from Banner. Hes not just a form. Maybe he wants to be treated like everyone else.

Does this mean that in infinity war, if bruce was struck by a deathblow he'd actually die and not turn into hulk? Coz in previous movies it was said that bruce shot himself in the mouth but hulk spit the bullet out. Also in thor ragnarok and first hulk movie(ed norton, he fell into his death but revived himself as the hulk. So i guess they shouldve just let bruce take a hard blow so he can turn. But then, mcu inconsistencies and plotholes prevails so i dont know.

Maybe hes just tired of people using him. Everyone wants the Hulk to come out to fight but never wants him to come out and have a drink from time to time. He wants a life too. Hes tired of Bruce running the show all the time. Hulk doesnt feel loved. He even said Earth hate Hulk. So maybe he didnt come out because if people only want to use him to fight, then they wont get the Hulk at all.

I think Earth hate Hulk is the main reason. He was a happy undefeated Hulk on Sakar then he has to leave, gets his butt kicked and would have to reappear and possibly get his butt kicked again in front of all of Earth.

The director has said that the Hulk refused to come out because he was sick of Banner forcing him to come out when he didn't want to just to beat someone up. Hulk was sick of being used and wanted to do things on his own terms.
