Movies That Completely Split Audiences In Half David: I don't know why everyone seems to forget that Christopher Reeves cheerful and fun version also straight up murdered his enemy General Zod. and in a much more horrendous way! In MoS he has literally no other choice Zod made him do it, he wasn't going to stop and there was nothing else Superman could do, however in Superman II Superman has already won, he tricked Zod and his partners by switching the depower chamber to work by taking away the powers of the people on the outside while he was protected on the inside, at that point he could have simply taken them all to a regular prison because they had no powers, but he chooses instead to continue playing the game and pretend that he no longer has his powers he gets on his knees to kneel before Zod then crushed every bone in Zods hand picks him up and throws him off of a canyon to his death. That is much, much worse than what happened in MoS yet everyone glosses over it and forgets.

Titanic is damn horrible. Trash, pure romantic trash. I didn't watch in theaters thank god, so I got to fast forward most of it. Just watch the ship sinking and be done with it. Love No Country for Old Men but I can totally see why many people wouldn't like it, in fact I always recommend it with a grain of salt. I like Man of Steel but I don't talk much about it because I think the original 74 movie is terrible so I won't get pummeled to death. La La Land is a musical so it's automatically horrible. Bright. was alright, I guess. I heard so many terrible things about it that when I finally got to see it I was like nah, it's ok.

Of all Superman movies I actually love Man of Steel. That final battle was properly the very reason why Superman from then on does not or would not want to murder/kill anyone ever again. The look on Supermans' face with the series of emotions racing into him of anxiety, frustrations and hate towards himself was depicted beautifully really. for a hero film. Anyone who hates it doesn't understand complex emotions to which makes us human. It is amazing but Superman seem to be more human than the actual humans on Earth. It shows how deep/dark DC could get.

People will never look back fondly on The Last Jedi, unless maybe they watched it as 8 year olds. It's an objectively bad movie that throws itself in the garbage in the end by making its entire plot completely irrelevant in two short scenes. The entire movie is about making the protagonist understand Jedis and Siths go hand in hand and are therefore just two sides of a very destructive coin; in the end, Luke just throws all of this in the can, making the entire movie pointless.

Ryan Johnson murdered Starwars. He did a great disservice to everyone who loved the characters, and totally screwed jj Abrams over by ignoring the notes he was left, and more importantly the story that was told with the previous 7 movies. Seeing something so loved disrespected just so Disney could push out the films on the fly is such an insult. It's sad, and seeing something you love from your Childhood treated like that hurts

It seems like a lot of these movies are recent ones. I think that has to do with the spread of information. People can form their own opinions and have them heard very quickly before hearing anyone else's opinions. Once it's out there, it's up to you to defend it. Before I would assume your opinion would go through more time and you'd hear more people's opinions before voicing your own. I guess that's what I think.

No country for old men was about the Sheriff adapting to the times and not about the guy who steals the money or the hitman for hire. In the beginning part of the movie he starts with a monologue about how he used to love hearing the old stories about catching the bad guys. He finishes it with a story of a death row inmate telling him hes going to hell. be there in about 10 minutes and not knowing what to make of it.

No Country For Old Men is one of my absolute most favorite films. I loved that it didn't have that traditional everything's fine again ending. We need more films that are willing to go that approach. Not everything has to be all sunshine and rainbows at the end of a movie. The only thing if I had to choose to complain about the movie is how useless of a character Tommy Lee Jones' character was.

Sure, they both COULD have fit on the door at once -- in warmer water! But he was already nearly frozen after just a few minutes and didn't have the energy to try, which likely would have pushed her into the water at least a couple of times. Mythbusters showed they both could fit, in the warm waters of San Francisco Bay. Nobody ever tried it in water 1 degree over freezing.

You forgot:
Avengers: Infinity War, Some people thought Thanos had the right idea, some thought he's pure evil.
The Room, some thought it was the worst movie ever, some people gave it 5 stars for it's hilarity.
Inception, Some thought Cobb was at home, some thought it was a dream.
Shutter Island, maybe Leo really was crazy, maybe the doctor tricked him.
