Really disrespectful towards Robert while the man started the MCU bring the first Marvel character aired by Marvel in a cinema movie. How on earth can you even think of letting him out of the Oscar list. And seriously? A supporting actor! The first MCU character, the hero that ended a cycle of 23 part movie and also series successful franchise, considered one of the best actors in the group.
What a shame that this even was discussed by Disney. Also a shame that they just considered it after feeling outside pressure.

Quite desperate. Also insulting to include RDJ as supporting actor instead of lead. Honestly, if RDJ was not the lead, who was? The green screen? Also pushing him for Oscars against his wishes? He clearly knows that his performance is not that deserving considering the competition. Also Hemsworth? Thor was retconned and used as comic relief. By mocking PTSD ffs. And frankly, it was disgusting, and also surprising from Disney who is trying so hard to be politically correct nowadays. Disney, you are pathetic.

U know what I am a really big MCU fanboy. A massive one but I don't think he'll win an academy. How grandiose and majestic his performance might be it won't matter, there are way better appreciative performances. We only want him nominated cuz we are emotionally attached to those movies, other than that. It's just not worth it. I'll still root for him but we gotta be thinking carefully

Unlikely because Oscars hate comic book movies, hell Ryan Reynolds hoped Hugh Jackman to get an award for Logan (2017) but never did, not even a nomination but RDJ might get nomination. I don't think Joker will get any award aside from nominations too.

Hemsworth's heartwrenching work in Endgame! What movie were they watching? Thor was 98% one long fat drunk slob joke in Endgame. He had more believable emotion in Infinity War, but that's still nothing next to Chris Evans.

Scarlet Jo gave by far the strongest actress performance in End Game. The rest were okay. Edit: Nebula gave an amazing performance as well.
