And you can very clearly see the purple (power) infinity stone in the gauntlet on Thanos' hand while hulk is trying to pound him against the wall.
So while Thanos is a more skilled fighter (Hulk really knows only as much about fighting as Bruce does, and that's not particularly much, and thus more adept at hand-to-hand fighting, there have been cases of Thanos was 'sans-infinity-stones', where Hulk would have eventually raged out enough that he could just rip out Thano's spine and beat him with it no matter how much more skillful a combatant Thanos is.
Specifically World War Hulk and World Breaker Hulk, he reached a point where even the scream from Black Bolt, point blank did. effectively NOTHING but knock him back, and he then proceeded to turn him into jelly in a black costume.
Thanos NEEDED the power infinity gem to take out hulk, that's all there is to it, and the entire cast of writers can say whatever they want but it falls flat when they EXPLICITLY WROTE IT AND FILMED IT THAT WAY.

So you're saying while Thanos is not actively using to power stone is not powered? I disagree. We saw what happened to Ronan when he possessed the power stone. Didn't get to see it in infinity Wars because it was off screen. But on the basis of Green Lantern. So you're saying while Green Lantern is not actively using the power ring he's also got no power buy it? He's only human level? Doesn't make any sense. So Captain America can catch Thanos off guard and knock him out while he's not actively using the infinity gauntlet. I suppose people have to agree to disagree on it.

He's got to be pretty old. They're many references that he's 'conquered thousands of world'. For the youngest age at the least He most likely can't be under 100. For instance 'thousands of worlds' mostly refers to above 1999, so let's take 2000 worlds minimum. That'll mean at 100 by which he'll start at 20 for appropriation means that for the last 80 years, he has conquered world's at a rate of 25 world's per year, that's 2 world's per month roughly, seems quite reasonable as he pretty much conquered earth in a week.

I believe the power stone may have an effect on it
I believe that it has to glow to work but if you notice that when Thanos adds another stone. his muscles tense, veins begin to appear and most importantly his body lights up the same way the infinity gauntlet does. I believe that the gauntlet isnt just like a sword to a knight, sure its a weapon that can cause harm but the gauntlet doesnt just make you harness the power of the infinity stones, but it makes you more durable, smarter and potentially. stronger

That was the most irritating scene of infinity war when hulk gets beaten up so easily. I strongly believe that wb or prof hulk will appear in avengers 4 coz hulk is getting beaten up since the last 2 movies: - thor ragnarok and infinity war. and hulk is meant to be the strongest. Hulk is stronger than thor in comics and what i saw in infinity war was absolutely different thor appeared to be stronger than hulk. wth? Hulk should be stronger than thor. Thats it. Hulk smash that puny thanos!

You guys obviously have no idea the true power of either of these characters. The MCU characters power is off. No he isn't actually that strong. Think about it, just MCU examples here, Thor couldn't stand a chance against Hela, Hela couldn't hold her own against Surtur. Hulk bout knocked his crown off with a single hit. The only way Thanos could stand a chance against Surtur is with all stones. Thanos would have been pummeled one on one. This was just bad writing.

The hullk we get in the mcu is extremely dialed down: this isnt the rips his face off and and it grows back before the pieces of his face hit the ground. hulk. This isnt the last titan hulk, or world breaker. this is basically a hullk whosmpower levels arent well establised yet. hopefully well see a much stronger more regenerative hulk in the future. might we even see a batch H hulk?

The Hulk will go toe to toe with Thanos in Avengers 4. This is my theory. After Thanos beat the sh! # out of the Hulk and got transported to earth via the bifrost. I think the Scrulls replaced replaced Banner with an imposter. When he arrived on Earth Dr. Strange saw Banner mid transformation and from that point on banner could not change into the Hulk because he was an imposter a Scrull. Any one else think this is a valid theory.

Hulk's strength depends on his rage but he got defeated too easily. that's the only shit about this movie. but there is a reason for this when spiderman was pulling the infinity gauntlet out of thanos hands he failed if there was hulk in this movie he could have easily done that pulling thing and thanos would have been no match to the mighty Thor. so the writers made it this way

Thanos knows how to fight, hulk is just raw strength and power. Thanos natural strength and power is incredible too. Hulk doesnt know how to fight, he just smashes. Look at the way Thanos is fighting hulk one on one, similar size, similar strength and power, except the fighting style is overwhelmed by Thanos compare to hulks just smashing choreography.
