For whiteface to actually be a thing, first there would have to be a solid history of villifying whiteness as ugly, disgusting, dirty and inherently sinful. Having straight blonde hair would get your daughter sent home from school -- in 2013. Being white on the right side of town would get your son stopped and frisked -- maybe even killed. And the illogical systematic seesaw would continue.
Most importantly, Teddy Perkins on the show, was black and became white. like a twisted version of Michael Jackson. Not Whiteface.

This list is so subjective, Game of Thrones didn't deserve the award? Just because you like one show more doesn't mean that it's better than the other. Talking about Game of Thrones, I was really hoping for Nikolaj Coster-Waldau to win the award, he was amazing this season. Even Peter Dinklage who won the award seemed like he had wished that for Nikolaj more than for himself

Looper, you have it all wrong! Reparation emmys was the best part! Whoever worked on these ratings, doesnt get comedy and needs to either retire or pursue a career in the kkk industry, I hear its a booming and theyre looking for new vile, and poorly raised humans.

Look, I'm black and all for diversity, but how diverse can you get when the US is like 70% white? Statistically that means there's gonna more of them at any place even by random chance. If we stop villainizing their skin color in 2018, it stops being a problem.

Hardly diverse when all it does is recognise one other ethnicity as being worthy of recognition. What about Native American, Asian, Polynesian, Aboriginal, Indian, Arabic. are they still not on the Hollywood radar?

I made myself watch this year and other than the proposal and noting that The Americans got robbed, the whole thing was the worst. Hell, those two things are very close to terrible in their own way.
