Her actions in Civil War are just odd.
Kissing Cap while reporting his location to Widow/Stark and giving him and Falcon their gear back. seems like she was playing both sides to be on the side of whoever won.
She also said just the right thing at the funeral, while looking at Cap, to ensure he'd split with Stark. Just sayin.

Last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye - Nick Fury. This is probably where Fury gets his trust/ secretive issues from. He's been paranoid because he befriended one the Skrulls in human form, then figured out it wasn't actually a person, and doesn't want whatever happened in the 90's to happen again!

The easier to go is: Carol is sucessful in avoiding the secret invasion, but that takes a heavy toll. She has to stay away from earth because of that. And the reason Nick Fury didn't call her in is because she resurfaces at some point between age of ultron and infinity war.

What if, and just hear me out, Looper were skrulls and their job was to influence how earthlings view pop culture? It's plausible right? Especially with their attacks on beloved past icons like Laserblast and Condorman. I'm not letting it go Looper!

If I remember readin comics and from cartoons. Captain Marvel is prob the hardest hero. Where the fook she been hiding durin the Avengers. She would slap thanos back and forth lol hope we get some answers and comes to the rescue for infinity war 2.

What I missed. Something to catch my eye and interest me in this movie. Nothing in it alluded to her being stronger than iron Man or Thor. she was riding on a train shooting bad cgi. Also her face doesn't seem expressive at all in my opinion

Could be that any number of the heroes who died in Infinity War were skrulls, and the real heroes were being held captive somewhere. That'd allow the deaths to be real and permanent while allowing the heroes to return.
