The Venom Audience Approval Rating Has Unexpectedly Soared jeve: None of this means anything. The masses also loved Transformers, Suicide Squad, and JL. Critics have rarely given a film a pass for just having mindless violence and cool special effects. Maybe people in general are just regressing back to Michael Bay levels of film watching. I thought Christopher Nolan had raised the bar for blockbuster film, but guess not. Regardless of what the critics or the masses think, though, this adaptation of Venom's origin story failed for me as soon as I found out Spiderman was gonna be non existant. If you cant even attempt to make it right dont make it at all. I thought Venom fans would be boycotting this. The fact that they even went ahead with making it should have been an obvious signal that they just want our money, not to share the actual story of venom with the masses and give him the story he deserves. But these days corporations have us all by he tongues again, I guess. You may have enjoyed Venom but I'm certain we could have gotten a much better film if not for all the corperate politics. I bet everyone is gonna love the upcoming Dark Phoenix travesty too.

Critics literally just share a thought. Movies connect with people differently. Plus, I think if you love the theme or particular subject of the movie, that's an automatic +10 to the score. There are some great movies and despite shit reviews, there are some alright movies that are worth checking out. Ghost Rider: spirit of Vengeance, The Thing 2010, or older movies like Event Horizon are some of my favourite movies. And I hated all the new Star Wars movies, but really really liked Solo.
Just go check out films for yourself. Don't let critics rob you of a night out at the movies!

I fully expected to dislike this movie. The first act is a bit of a slog- I'm not a huge fan of Eddie Brock, a consummate NYer with a very East Coast manner and way in most iterations being a San Franciscan- but after that the humor, the very 80s adversarial nature between Eddie and Venom, came off very 48 Hours like a buddy cop movie; this made it a fun enough watch. Not sure Woody Harrelson is gonna pull off that Ronald Mcdonald clown wig though.

Critics are gonna be dicks they're gonna be cridicks the movie was great, funnier than i expected, and i loved venom and eddies relationship, and the only thing i didn't like about it was how short it felt im also hoping that woody harrelson does a good carnage/cledus cassidy because he honestly seems like he can act the part he just doesnt look like the character if you ask me so hopefully he'll be full symbiote most the time but great movie 8/10

Its about expectations of the fans. The only major problem with Venom is that Spider-Man wasnt apart of it, but being a stand alone movie, it didnt bother me and apparently most people. Other than that I thought they did an excellent job on Venom and being a comic fan of Venom for many years, I thought they were pretty true and even dig deep to bring out not so well known rivals of Venom like Riot into the movie was pretty cool.

I dont listen to critics, everyone has different taste, thankfully but l must say do all yourself's a favour, skip this turd of the film and check out a lower budget film with more storyline Upgrade now l don't know if it's just coincidence but the two films are very similar in alot of ways, l don't know which was written first but for sure l know which one l will watch again. But that's just me. Judge for yourself

Freaky love it! Sorry but the last Jedi was. Kind of disappointed. It was entertaining but. For me it was just worth it to watch once or two times. But Venom. I went too see it 3 times!
With best friend, next day with mother, next next day with cousins. XD and that's when I really love a movie I don't tell the one who invites me that I already seen it!

Venom is the type of movie that you need to watch yourself to form an opinion. I saw it with some friends the other day, and we all agreed the movie was actually pretty good. It wasnt perfect but it was definitely a very fun movie, especially if youre a comic book fan like me. The mid-credit scene also got me pretty excited for a potential Venom 2.

Critics are people who earn their living by watching and analyzing movies. They can be bribed to say a good thing about shitty movie (ex. Star wars: The Last Turd) but Venom really isn't Citizen Kane. Audience on the other hand, at least for this movie, is consisted of 15 year old boys, who laugh at simple shitty jokes and jack it off on Kardashians.

i watch Venom, and i went to my expectations. but the Last Jedi? TLJ is as good as twilight franchise, pure garbage. whoever movie critic recommended to me The Last Jedi is a sure well bribed biased critic. movie critics do not realized that they are killing their credibility, and becoming more as a political weapon than a reliable movie source.
