What Parents Are Warning Others About Netflix's Mowgli Fat: You all have probably never read the original book. The original story was pretty dark so this movie is actually on point. Know before you blow. and on top of that everyone these days gets offended over everything thus the ability for freedom of expression and speech will eventually die due to snowflakes who will eventually run our country. prepare yourselves future Americans your freedoms are dying and you are signing off on it. dumbasses.

I saw the movie yesterday and honestly I didn't like it that much not because it was too dark. Honestly I didn't think it was that dark I guess I'm used to it since I've watched things more dark. Even my 3 year old niece saw it and she didn't think it was dark there were some moments where she said it was scary but then she'll still continue to watch but then again I think she was too distracted playing to actually watch it.

the kids that watched the original jungle book are all grown up now, this movie is for them an older audience to rekindle old memories while at the same time not be bored out your mind by watching the same shit, if they make the new lion king like Mowgli it would easily be the best film of the decade. want your kids to see jungle book like you remember it? buy the remastered Bluray copy.

Did you even read the book? All your review is on OTHER people's review. The story was originally a children's book. Yes, the story was dark but back then children were not coddled like today's children.
Your review should have been on the directing of the movie and how the movie glorified killing and death as appose to a boy being torn from the only home and family he has known.

I watched both the Disney version of the jungle book and this one. I enjoyed both and they were worth my time, so I have no ill will towards either. However, if parents are going to dig their heels with this, they need to take more responsibility of what their kids are watching, it was rated PG-13 for a reason. Did they really think that this was going to be like an MCU movie?

Traumatizing the kids? This movie? It's pg13. Parents forget that they've seen movies more graphic than this when they were kids. Besides I'm more concerned with my kids believing: 1 animals can speak English
2 they will not eat you if they discover you as a helpless infant (anyone ever see what a Heron does to a duckling? Now thats traumatizing.

Actually I watched it with my autistic kids who are 6 and 3 an too be honest. they loved it! My 3 yr old would growl everytime Khan growled! This movie is great especially if you show them the cartoon version right after! Traumatize where? This age is too sensitive an it was cool watching this on tv! I prefer this than that beauty and the beast movie

Whats so wrong with letting kids watch this, when I was 9 or 10 me and my father watched the lord of the ring trilogy. I had nightmares for a long time and dad would come and sleep with me. I loved it. The bad dreams before he came, and the peace after he got there helped us bond and those memories are some of the most precious I have
