Ok guys here is your answer:
They showing the boots with the Boba Fett sound because it is his boots. He got killed by Moff Gideon who took his boots as a trophy as he killed such a big named mercenary.
There you have it. So we got our big enemy in the show. Mando is probably gonna kill him somehow at the end making him a better Mandalorian then Boba Fett. (Thats why we got a show based on him not Fett.

The boots at the end of episode 5 belong to Greef Karga. If you listen carefully when Greef Karga appears toward the end of episode 3 to block Mando's exit, you can hear that same spurs sound effect as he walks. It's very subtle, but it's there. It's at 25 minutes and 49 seconds in episode 3.

Im a star wars fan and for me movies for old republic is the best. For me disney trilogy is trash and i prefer never happen but The mandalorian give me that feeling also when i watch STAR WARS. Sorry for my english.

Call me crazy but I think the guy at the end was Boba Fett because if you listen carefully you can here the sound of spurs simular to how when ever Boba was on screen in The Empire Strikes Back.
