perceived law is just enforcement of the control by the corrupt in power, batman is just a deceived government thug, Joker wants to show
batman and Gotham that heros are not needed but personal responsibility is needed, cynicism not nihilism, batman is the hero for the helpless
individual but perpetuating helplessness, Joker is a hero to all the afflicted around the world that we are not helpless and 1 person can make
a change. even if you have to break a few mindless eggs to make that omelette. shit that's just what your elected leaders do all the time.

I really like the twist of Patton Oswalds theory on the joker being not only ex-military but ex-military intelligence which would lend credence to the fact that in the scene where Gordon has him locked up and the mayor is asking what do they have and he responds with nothing clothing is custom no tags no matches on DNA prints dental nothing in his pockets but knives and lint no other aliases Him being ex-military intelligence would give him the skills needed to erase his identity from federal databases. somebody with the ex-military back round would give him the knowledge on how to use and set up all those explosives and weapons as well as tactics and planing to execute things with the proficiency he does. It fits in very well with the story.

So I don't think that they quite understand what the JOKER movie is about. It is a Character Study of the singular villain and arguably one of the most recognizable villains in pop culture, the Joker, it is not supposed to be part of the DCU at all, it doesn't involve any super heroes or villains, its just a story about what drove this icon to insanity. This movie isn't supposed to be about Batman, and is set in a different time to tell a story about this villain and what could have cause him to become what he is now. There's so many theories out there but all in all, the movie is called Joker, a character study about the Joker, with Joaquin Phoenix playing the Joker, I don't get why so many people are freaking out?

My personal favorite is the Fight Club origin, it the FC book, Jack/ narrator ends up at a mental hospital in the end. in the book he aquired cheek scars, one from fighting, and the other from the self gunshot, it explains his skill with hand to hand combat, explosives, and how he could have access to the mentally unstable, and have a cult leader like influence, to build an army of followers, to attack the corrupt, and wealthy. This also explains the Jared Leto joker, he had his teeth knocked out by his leader, in FC, and has to have a metal grill. He knew what Tyler turned into, and wanted to emulate his leader, from his youth after he dissapeared, to continue project mayhem.

I can't be the only one surely to notice 'A Fleck' as in BEN
THIS IS NOT ABOUT 'The Joker' but all Meta as they say these days about the supposed effect of violence and gun control offen leading to medicated psychiatric patients that are said to mimic and also be influenced by the anti heroes of notoriety that get the attention and misplaced affection so often desperatly lacking in the minds, hearts and souls of the misplaced and often overlooked people who struggle in the 'Sink or Swin' world we have all decided to cooperate and collude with. The Killing Joke!

What if theres a way to keep Joaquin, Leto, Ben Afflect & Robert Pattinson in the DCEU.
1. Wonder Woman crosses path with both Joker & young Bruce Wayne in the 80s (Wonder Woman 84 may juz link up well)
2. The new younger Batman to be played by Robert Pattinson wil be set in the 90s & will be up against Joaquins Joker
3. Fast forward to the 2000s, Joker got to Robins head (Jared Leto) n made him his understudy (Jokes on you written all over Robins suit in Batman vs Superman)
4. Jared Leto will now be the new Joker going up against Batflect

I do think that Joaquin's Joker might inspire the future Joker that faces Batman. All those dudes protesting in the subway and outside city hall during the trailer. Perhaps one of them (or a relative of one) decided to take on the mantle. They could be treating the Joker persona like the Red Hood persona in the comics. People come and go as the Red Hood for their own purposes (including the Joker himself and obviously Jason Todd. Arthur Fleck could just be the one who set it all in motion. The Joker becomes an idea that outlives him.

Joker in this upcoming movie seems to be quite young, maybe as young as 20-30. He lives with his mom and is trying to start a career as a comedian (he doesn't even have a car as he rides a subway. They also seem to make Phoenix look younger than he is with his hair and acting makeup. As for Bruce being much younger he could be around 12 so I think there may only be like a 10-15 age difference which would be enough of a gap for them to tangle later (not when Joker is on his 70s as this video points out.

Its about time, and I mean ITS ABOUT TIME! Hollywood gave J. P. a super hero role of some sort and he doesnt have to be dolled up in a dumb costume. Hes a very handsome man and excellent actor who deserves to be up there with the rest of our GOOD idol heros. (Like another of my favorites, Gerard Butler. Im a huge fan. However, that said, I dont expect much from Hollywood these days. Its just gotten so trashy and empty headed.
