The Saddest Endings In Movie History DeathGrinder: i would've liked having avengers infinity war keep its ending. but I knew there is no way with the characters they made disappear that it was staying that way. I wished it had though. but Spiderman's death isn't sad because of this. I knew there was going to be some kind of time travel situation. so I wish they had just a couple of them disappear and not reappear and have some kind of fight with thanos.

What about Revenge of the Sith's ending? That duel between Anakin/Darth Vader and Obi-Wan was extremely emotion ridden, the rise of the Empire's power, the Death Star, and the true Star Wars movie wherein the dark side wins, Empire Strikes Back, sort of, but Revenge of the Sith is literally the title and that's going to happen.

Was waiting to see A. I. Artificial Intelligence to pop up somewhere on this list. I watched that film when I was like 9-10 years old, I cried so hard then that I cant even bring myself to watch it back now because it will probably smash me to pieces This list could have been so much better!

There are way sader movie endings. Like the Fog, Cable guy, Into the Wild or The Orphanage. The Fog is in my eyes the sadest end of all. I mean even when i think about it i could cry. Shutter Island would be in my top 3 too. But seriously u cant leave The Fog out of this list this is a joke!

Avengers infinity war (Spider-Man is second favorite super hero of all time), avengers end game, dark knight (Heath ledger gave the performance of his life, I knew he would win the Oscar and he left behind a beautiful wife and daughter) awakenings, the crow, Malcolm X.

i know you guys think youre giving context to each scene but these voiceovers distract the viewer from actually focusing on the scene. it would be so much more enjoyable if you guys actually made legitimate lists without the voiceovers.

That Peter Parker death scene is sad and heartbreaking to watch. :-O: -O: -(: -(: -( I like Shutter Island a lot. Poor Michael Junior in Road To Perdition. :-(: -(: -( I nearly cried at the end of The Wrestler. :-(: -(

The ending of the Call Me by Your Name leaves everyone starring at nowhere and questioning why is this movie messed up with my feelings so bad. For those who are homophobes would never understand this LOL

Endgame had a much sadder ending than Infinity War because we always knew they were going to bring those back who were snapped but when Tony died at the end of Endgame we really felt it and still do.

Sometimes i might not like a movie or think it's sad a the conclusion but the right haunting music can make it sad. Most of these movies are not better than a B. I saw 7 of them.
