The 'Prawns' sent their unwanted citizens to Earth - the Prawns were not invited to Earth. So, if you turn up on a planet or country, where you do not belong and where you are not wanted nor invited, why would you arrogantly expect to be treated as anything other than a nuisance or an invader? Check your sense of entitlement much?
When Christopher returns to his home world, if indeed that is his plan, I get the feeling they were not especially popular group on their world. But, he may well say 'the humans treated us badly, they didn't want us there' but the 'Prawn' rulers will likely say 'yeah, we don't want you here either, we're glad the humans abused you, that's why we sent you there in the first place'.
This idea, that you can just turn up without an invite is ludicrous - whether it be human or alien refugee - you have no right to be or go anywhere that you are not wanted.

Wow if you need an explain for the end of D9 you can't be helped. It's waaaaay obvious that Wikus is the prawn that's crafting a flower from scrap at the end. Also what makes you believe Wikus doesn't retain all of his humanity? If you. watch the film part of the lesson should be that the prawns aren't the mindless monsters that they're believed to be and treated like, they have the same complex emotions, beliefs and desires that we have, that's half of the lesson of the movie, only in life it's foreigners (like the real life Nigerians in Johannesburg) instead of aliens from another planet. They clearly state in the movie that they need the fuel to power their medical machines, so yeah they need it to heal Wikus, but it's probably not a good idea to consume/inhale it.

District 9 was perhaps too mind bending for any producer to actually be willing to produce a part 2.
And we don't really know what the aliens are about in the first place: what were they doing on planet Earth in the first place? Are they legitimate representatives of the average alien on their planet, or are they like some kind of criminals, prisoners or some kind of refugees?
And why the weapons? Were they supposed to fight or defend themselves against other aliens? Against humans?
Could Wikus become a sort of bridge between aliens and humans? Is it something to be feared by humans and/or aliens?

District 10 is not likely to happen because its a real sad ending its the truth prawns are starting to become a big population and have a bigger slums and live on this planet as huge citizens and Christopher is determined in the ending to come back or not for wikus or even probably with a deadly war because Christopher even said he had to go back to his planet to warn everyone in his planet whats on earth and how the society is but we all dont know but Wikus is officially a prawn but his mind is not he still thinks like a human is what I think but Vikus is waiting for Chris or just living in district 10

The black oil like fluid is a power source developed BY HUMANOIDs, that brought about their own demise & transformation, thus creating the Prong species. Again, this movie does an incredible job drawing parallels to problems in our own Word today. It is no coincidence that the black fluid looks like CRUDE OIL.
The other major theme of the movie was Racism. it was all the other humans who lost their humanity, not Vicus.
District 9 was one of the best Alien Sci-Fi movies of the last 20 years! Unbelievable there has been no sequel.

Vikas should have left with the aliens since he was turning into one of them anyways and the way the humans tested and experimented on him like an animal. Its better to leave than to stay. Obviously if your turning into a species with superior technology why not take it? Since the beginning of the film the aliens just wanted to go home and we humans kept them as hostages. Next film should show warships coming in to exterminate humans because thats what humans should be treated.

I'm amused by how some content creators can spend 5-10 and even 30 minutes talking about nothing, revolving over a single concept over and over and over again just to fill up a certain amount of time. Why you do that? Any special reason? Content is garbage and people won't cling over the whole thing, so, how you will monetize over that garbage? Or, is people indeed that dumb that they actually see the whole thing, thus encouraging the creation of these lame videos?

Wishing they'd done at least a follow up sequel to district 9
Something also that might be interesting have the reason why they fled their home planet was because of an invasion by the predator aliens who also brought the xenomorphs with them who began using them as host with the predators demanding that they make it possible for them to be able to use the prawn technology or be used as cattle for the xenomorphs and for various kinds of experiments

A biological biproduct, which must be unconftable for them to produce, or at least culturally demeaning, as a strict biological cast systems go. Anyhow, the last remaining leadership must have lost control of their worker class, and due to this ran out of fuel, whilst any other leaders/higher levels were thorn to shreds by the worker-class. and district 9 starts
