Just go watch the movie, if you want a carbon copy of the original hellboy movies then watch those movies. I went in with an open mind and walked out with a smile on my face, the only comic book movie i would even consider watching at the theatre, I'm not going too see avengers or star wars and i do like those movies, but it's a breath of fresh air compared to these pristine kiddy superhero movies that get mass produced each year. Solid 8/10

People need to accept the fact that the Hellboy movies with Perlman were anything but perfect yeah the casting was great but stop pretending the movies were golden masterpieces that are a billion times better than this movie. Face it this interpretation was pretty good, and lying to yourself and saying the Perlman movies were perfect won't change that.

Im 50//50 and Im sad that it didnt do well as I liked David in stranger things. I feel that in some scenes his make up looked good but in some scenes especially in the trailer he looked fake and off for some reason. I will watch it as I know David worked hard and dedicated his time to make this movie good.

I found the latest film not that great, specifically the king Arthur links, not very original, felt like a stretch. Also his new partner who turned into a warewolf. isn't that again way to similar to other films? I love the original quirky characters in the first two films. This film lost that magic.

No Pearlman. And then Jovovich (who, let's be honnest, has not proven very good at acting since 5th element. Well can't say i'm delighted.
The new HB has a great face for a comic character. But damn he has a huge weight on his shoulder to walk in Pearlman footprints.

the building of the portal in 2019 hellboy is the hillock of fraternity in plovdiv bulgaria. i live 100m from it and spent my childhood climbing and exploring it. wow! how weird it feels that hellboy came out of it! i saw the filming crew there!

All casts from previous hellboy movies are perfect. Ron, selma. Even the one who played abe and professor broom. All of them make us believe that they live in that world full of unique creatures. And of course, this was possible because of del Toro

Reboot not only will suck, but will never pay to watch. Soon as a hit movie changes cast, it tends to suck. Actor playing the role might be a good actor, but soon as I heard main character was being changed. Best of luck, but no thanks!

What has happened to Hollywood prosthetic make up. Compare hellboy reboot prosthetic from d preceeding 2 hellboy. It's totally worse. Either u compare recent predator from d previous one. Prosthetics r d worsed at its worst state
