The Hound Is More Important Than You Realized In GOT CJ: I think he is important, heck, he saw a vision in the flames more accurate than any other person who has said what they saw. BUT! Azor Ahai isn't ONLY supposed to wield lightbringer (which glowed the color of flames and was as warm as the heart of Nissa Nissa, who's blood had set the steel, s/he is also supposed to wake stone dragons, and who's coming would be heralded by a bleeding star.
So far as I can tell, books and TV show, Dany is the only one who fits that. 'The ages turned them to stone, but they are still beautiful' -petrified dragon eggs she made come to life. The burning star showed up the day she burned, and climbed into the pyre of Khal Drogo. Which was for her a type of 'rebirth' or moment of Ascension. The only thing missing is the magic sword, which it says she will weild, it doesn't say she has to make her own or forge a new one.
I THINK she will get that sword from Beric's squire (in the books) the last son of house Dayne, who has the sword of morning with him. It has a unique milky white color blade, forged from the metal of a meteor. It has a special meaning, and only a person who has proven worthy of the sword can claim it, it doesn't pass father to son like the other swords in westeros. I think if Dany takes it in hand the milky white (ice) of the blade will turn to the colors of flame and become warm once more.

I don't think the Hound realizes that he is a worg. Stranger, his horse has taken on the traits of his master(she never knew a horse so quick to kick or bite) at least in the books because Sandor works into him in his sleep. They give you glimpses in the show, Stranger was the reason that he went back out into the mob subsequently saving Sansa, but he has dreams that he's a horse and doesn't realize that hes worging until Arya tells him that she knows that her mom is dead because she dreams it. The long pause is when he realizes that the dreams are real.

The hound was 100% resurrected. Listen to the dialogue with the farmer who found him I was just about to buy you before you coughed, and I reckon you died 12 more times before you got up and them a while ago he told Arya nothing keeps a man going like hate so when the farmer asked what brought you back he says hate because he refuses to believe the lord of light brought him back. Also he stepped into frame when berrick was talking about resurrecting US with jon

Azor Ahai was born of Aries II's line. so it's either Jon or Danny. all signs point to Jon though. In book 2, Danny sees a vision of what she thinks is her brother Rahgar all in black with snow on his shoulders as he carries a flaming sword. Jon at the time was a member of the Night's Watch. But anyone thinking they know who Azor Ahai is always seem to forget that Jon and Danny are the only 2 candidates.

I seriously, seriously doubt it that Sandor Celgane ends up as wielder of the sword of light. But stranger things have happened I guess. The brotherhood did say that the God of Light wasn't finished with him yet. Maybe he gets his own priest (or priestess) to keep bringing him back to life while he goes around slicing his enemies in two.

He's only back for fan service. That's not a complaint, I'd take 8 seasons of the Hound any day, but I don't think he serves a purpose now apart from (very dark) comic relief and some memorable reunions. Sure, we'll get Cleganebowl, which is pretty much meaningless now, but his main role in the show, ie protecting Arya, is done with.

My theory has always been The Hound is the reincarnation of Azor Ahai or however its spelled. His relationship with fire and the fact that hes changed so much from the first season reborn in a way. I think the guy with the eye patch finally dies and the hound gets his flaming sword. I could be reaching though lol

Maybe he wasn't playing with his brothers toy but seeing something in the flames instead and his brother saw his death and put sandors face in the fire maybe that's why he hates fire because he saw his hate in the flames and has to kill someone he truely loves to because who he was meant to be

When the Hound 'died' fighting Brianne, I remember yelling out loud my shock and anger. LOL And when he came back I think the whole apartment complex heard me cheering. LMAO That entire off-season, though, I was just a ball of pissed off anger. He's easily my favorite character.

The hound comes to his brothers side and they die together as brothers is a better ending for me.
And why think the mountain is a zombie? Most likely yes but he did look at Jamie when insulted. Most of as he DIDN'T STEP IN FRONT OF THE WHITE WHEN IT CHARGED at CERSEI. choice.
