What Rotten Tomatoes Reviews Are Saying About Endgame Jane: One of the critics - Barry Hertz, says it loses any sense of emotional stakes. Did you watch this in a movie theatre? Did you not hear the sniffles, nose blowing and the wimpers from the people around you? No sense of emotional stakes?
Incomprehensible visuals. I have just seen the film and there were no visuals incomprehensible. Perhaps just to you?
Ok. there is subjectivity and objectivity. If someone does not like a film or is not into a particular genre, that's fine. It's their taste and opinion. But objectively speaking, one has to appreciate what many people [or in this case the vast majority of people] are experiencing and consider that in a review. Why else would the film currently be at 96% positive? Actually, knowing many other people's opinions at that time may not be possible, so it begs the old question, are film critics relevant today? It's one person's opinion who, in this case, considers purely subjectively. It doesn't matter if a critic has an encyclopedic knowledge of film, it's still one person's opinion. We see more and more, a divergence between critic's opinions and an overall public opinion. So why do we have them? They really are pointless. Especially when they consider, as Mr Herz does, purely subjectively as someone who is obviously not a fan, or at least not looking around him to undoubtedly see the huge amount of emotion being displayed around him in the theatre. The nature of film is subjective. If a lot of people like it, there is a good chance it's good. These people who criticize based only on their own opinion and write publicly as such, are pointless.

Future Avengers related movies I will be interested in, are the ones that will be based on Steve Rogers as Captain America, Tony Stark as Iron Man and the original Thor mainly, so if some actors become too expensive and are not returning, I suggest recasting those classic characters or have a total reboot with a recast, possibly based around timeline alterations, due to Endgame, possibly even attracting the attention of a famous time-traveling villain like Kang the conqueror. I'm not really interested in knockoff characters taking on the mantle, not in comic books or in movies. As for Doctor Strange, he does have the power to rejuvenate or restore characters, among many other possibilities.

Terrible.
The only fans that think this movie was worth the price of admission are over emotional fanboys and fangirls that cannot think critically.
Almost as bad as the Star Wars 9 trailer but I digress.
A fat, alcoholic Thor.
A sweater-wearing, rehabilitated Hulk.
Ant-man is brought back to the current realm by a rat.
Captain America at a gay support group giving his shield to the Hawk instead of Bucky.
Scarlet Witch not able to single-handedly beat Thanos by herself.
So lets go back in time and not save Vision.
There are more plot holes in this movie than Swiss cheese!
12. 50 and three hours of my life Ill never get back. Disney, what a waste.

I seen the movie and it wasn't THAT good. It certainly made you appreciate the thanos fights more from Infinity War. For a movie that should be more focused on him, they took extra time to deviate and ultimately starts to lose focus a quarter into the film. Not to say the movie doesn't have direction, as this is indeed the Endgame. However, I was left feeling certain characters neglected, and decisions that should ultimately carry heavy weight. Emotional sequences felt short, and most of the bannertalk (Albeit a bit funny) was effortless. This is not my review, just my opinion. I enjoyed the film very much, but I was disappointed. This is ultimately my own fault for expecting 'More. '

even tho the movie is 3 hours long, it feels to fast at certain points. i liked the movie, i went through a lot of emotions but its not the epic masterpiece that i expected and some things really rubbed me the wrong way. but its like with most marvel films. when they come out, people dont wanna hear about the bad side of the movies, in their eyes, its a perfect masterpiece. even infinity war didnt allow negatives at the beginning and after a few months, people asked question and pointed out plotholes. my biggest problem with endgame is that some things happen off screen without beeing explained. you just have to accept that possible.

I have really enjoyed most of the Marvel Avenger (and solo) movies up to now. But given the leftist America hating political commentary I have heard from the Capt. America (how sad is that) and Hulk actors and to a lesser extent Scar Jo I just cannot bring myself to see any movie with them in it. A loss for me as I am sure it will be very good but as I said above I just cannot bring myself to sit through it (an old U. S. Marine vet. and now PhD. Engineer who works for America's largest defense contractor. p. s. Trump won 84% of the counties from sea to shining sea. Semper Fi.

I. just didnt like it. Idk, it felt like a weird fever dream of overly convoluted plot lines which dont follow their own rules. There were like 30 mins of fat jokes about Thor which had no effect on the story at all. It felt like a shitty Thor Ragnarok with too many edgy subversions of expectations. Sometimes doing the opposite of what people expect just for shock value doesnt make the movie or story good. Steves resolution was extremely ooc, problematic, and not possible within the rules of the universe they made. Just my opinion, but I was just so crushed and disappointed.

to me its a 7/10 film not 9/10. reason they have too many establishing shots when avengers go to a battle. when they walk in group slow motion ( like this on 6: 24, look cool but. they repeated this kinda shots 5-6 times which make it little bit boring make film duration little bit more longer. i mean if you are watching it as a fan and emotionally then maybe not notice but watch it again you will find they did those shots multiple time which was not needed. they were just trying to hard to make this film look great.

I did not like the movie at all. 2 hours was more stories from the past life of the characters. In the end Tony dies after having had a family and had a daughter. To save others as the first avenger that started the story should die? and finally Captain returns very old in age at real time but at another time, very young parallels to the girl he wanted to dance. This means that in the past life Tony is still alive if we know because there are no films to prove this theory so you do not see the movie as an emotion.

Christian Long and Barry Hertz: Waaaaaa! Too much fanservice!
Clearly not fans. But, for those of us who are fans, it was FRIGGING AWESOME
I mean, seriously: what did those dorks _expect_ from a culmination of 21 prior movies based on comic books. both of which with a huge fanbase? Did they seriously expect that the writers and directors would say F U fans! and fail to deliver fanservice in abundance?
