Game of Thrones Season 8 Ending May Have Leaked
video description
Dany going mad is not unexpected. Of the rest of the prediction in this video, I can see Tyrion being killed despite the fact that we all love him. The writing is kind of on the wall for that one, but I can still hope for a few more days. There's only two ways Jon will end at this point. He will be the king or he will end up dying. I don't see him walking into the north to build a wall. Come on people. That would just not fit! GRRM always said the nightwalker thing was secondary to the game of thrones storyline and Jon never walks away from duty, so I don't see him doing anything but trying to become the king, now that Dany is crazy. He is foreshadowed with the Ygritte thing (among other clues) to show he would choose duty over love every time. I think SOMEONE is going to kill Dany, that's also a given now. I think the Bran part is a red herring. Bran is barely human. Bran is more likely to become a tree. He doesn't want to be Lord of Winterfell, how is he going to be anything more than that?
SO, my bet is Dany kills Tyrion. Jon or Arya eventually kills Dany. Possibly, Jon dies and then the kingdom is split up. Sansa takes the North (given. Gendry will probably have part of the seven kingdoms, being a Baratheon now and Dany gave him those keys. Yara has the Iron Isles. I think the kingdom getting split into separate rulers has all been foreshadowed. Yara is already split, but allied. Sansa is mostly there as well. I see Sam as the Archmaester telling this whole story to future generations, while little same is the next Lord Tarly. That is my guess.
This whole story is basically a lesson for how the real game of thrones plays out. Don't forget GRRM based a lot of this on real events in history. We all put a lot of faith in someone who has king or queen-like qualities and then our hopes are dashed when ultimate power ultimately corrupts them. I think the whole story is about the quest for power and what people will do or give up to have it. I think the moral is that there should be no ultimate power because it always corrupts and there needs to be a balance. Which is why the modern real world strives (and usually fails) with its governments to find ways to check the power of rulers. We, rightfully, get worried when someone seems to like their position too much and when we put privileged people into positions of power when they have never experienced the sufferings of others or seen the other side of the coin. The show points out that usually someone who doesn't really want the role makes a better leader. Jon Snow, theoretically, makes a good leader. He starts the series not being invited to the table with his own family because of his background. He learns through the books, makes good, bad and questionable decisions and learns from them and arrives at the end now. The story is all about what actually makes a good leader and maybe that no one is really a good leader if they have too much power. Tywin with his conversations with Tommen, Geoffrey, Cercei and even Ramsey are the worst examples and then comes Dany who starts out humbled and succumbs to the power trip. Every leader, pretty much every character, in the book is another lesson in the game of thrones. We should be scared when our leaders do not defer the the checks and balances of their government in real life. Varys is like the balance, the one who works behind the scenes and tries to represent the people for better or worse. Someone always poisons the pigeon pie of tyrants, or at least works to dethrone them, but how many regular people die before that happens?
The white walkers were never the point. They are like a hurricane or volcano or the plague or a massive flu epidemic in real life. They are the thing that the leader has to actually deal with before he/she can get back to the game of thrones lest all his/her subjects die and there is no one to pay homage.
Another point that is made that applies in the books and in real life, no one ever actually wins the game of thrones, not in the long run, it is a continuous never ending game. However you gain the throne, you must defend it your entire life and it usually is about life and death for you and your family.

most of this was fairly predictable stuff but the piss poor execution is what makes it so infuriating.
We all knew Varys was going to die, but most assumed there would be a bit more to it than that.
Many people assumed Dany would go mad, but you would think they could have attempted to make it more natural and believable. maybe something horrible happening in the heat of battle and she goes crazy at that point. nah she just doesnt get the D she needed the night before so she goes all rage on people who have already surrended and kills the civis to boot because why not. and over the course of a better part of an hour. not even temporary insanity but prolonged and drawn out.
We all assumed Cersei and Jaime would die together but seriously, what was the point of his entire arc. what a worthless character. At this point, why didnt bran just rat him out? He hasnt done anything worthwhile since he left Cersei last season. and boom he is dead.
And if Jon sacrifices himself to stop Dany, again hardly unpredictable but im sure the show runners will screw up even the chance of making that feel meaningful either.
I also have little doubt that most of the major bullet points that happened this season are what GRRM told them would happen but Dumb and Dumber just didnt have the talent to give us an interesting bridge to the ending so instead they just avoided any build up at all into any of these major points. no wonder nothing happened in 8. 1 and 8. 2. but im sure there will be many great explosions and other michael bay moments.

As expected. as soon as Books has ended and producers had to make up the story on their own, the show went down hill big time. Last two episods (4 & 5) are horrible. Arya killing night walkers in one episode skirmish, in 2 second fight while John was battling them for 7 seasons. That was epic and climating right? Not in my oppinion (not mention the whole battle tactic - idiotic. The battle between John and nightwalkers in S5E8 was done way better and had more drama.
We all where trying to guess who and how will kill Cersei. Any one guessed it will be a mighty ton of bricks? - wow what a dramatic fullfiling and surprising ending.
Finaly the one who was good and inoccent and righteous the little Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons why not add in seson 7 another well matching titles (to the one mentioned above) like mad qeen - The burner of innocent - yea that goes so well with Protector of the realm and Breaker of Chains: . It make so much sense and is so cool. i mean so hot: P
Can't really watch further this pile of Sh.

I think either.
1) Jon kills Dany. And tAkes his own life after. Leaving Tyrion and Sansa to run the kingdom.
2) Dany trys to have Sansa killed causing Jon to kill Greyworm and Arya to kill Dany.
3. Arya kills Greyworm takes his face and kills Dany.
Nmw the Dragon is either going to be killed (Which I doubt. Or he's\she's going to leave on its own. 2 reasons
1. A Dragon is not a slave.
2. There is no chance for peace with the around after episode 5.

Everything makes more sense when you learn that Weiss and Benioff have been tired of doing this show since the end of Season 5. The original plan was for 10 seasons with a relatively unlimited budget, but the only way HBO could get the show runners to stay was to promise a limit of 3 shortened seasons with large breaks in between. Benioff and Weiss just want out, and S8 shows it. Minimal writing with tons of CGI.

I'm all fairness 90 percent of the leaks were obvious. The brothers fight, Dany spraying up Kings landing, Jamie getting caught (he's been caught a few times) Tyrian playing both sides to achieve a favorable outcome. I hope the showrunners are ahead of these leaks and surprise us with a decent ending. Put Jon on the throne. Can they get that right? I really don't care about anything else.

OMG Dany just cant control her emotions since she lost every closest characters to her but its not fare to call her as a Mad Queen I guess. Because still her intention was pure to take over the Kings Landing in a good way. But shit happened. I cant watch her dying(if its plotted) I wish this is just Brans vision which is impossible!

I bet it was leaked because someone saw how bad the ending SUCKED! They were probably hoping that there would be such backlash & uproar about how bad it ends, that they would have to do a rewrite/new ending. One could wish.
This still pisses me off because I invested so much time watching the show only to have it end horribly.

This video adds bits and pieces here and there to the actual leaks, which is the reason people here are thinking these are kinda accurate after watching e5. The actual pointers that I read three days back turned out so entirely accurate that I'm now afraid to watch the last episode. I'm not ready for such epic screw-up.
