Another thing that is missed is the lights of the ship while the mom is trying to get a piece of metal. We see the red. but we also see white. Would the white lights have given him a different program to act on? Or would they clear the other program to allow the kid to be who he was before the red lights?

Wow, gee, a movie that lacks originality - say it aint so. This movie sucked. It was like watching a child have a tantrum because he cant have candy for dinner. By this I mean the main character AND the Gunns.
James Gunn is a Marvel guy, so he hates DC - so he makes a movie that rips off DC? Even though Marvel are the company of rip offs? Hypocrites in Hollywood! Nooo.

I love that someone in hollywood is still having fun with cameras. Please let this be a continuing world. there are so many possibilities! Horror movie Zod, Batman as a serial killer/Punisher style vigilante, Wonder Woman as a man-killing dominatrix. Not to mention all the fun to be had with an aging Brightburn. Horror/Superhero is such a viable genre.

During end credits, you get the nods to other beings, bit one is an alien.
It could be a possible nod to Shape Shifting Alien Orphan from Gunn's earlier Superheroish movie: the Specials.

The reason Brandon has all the pictures of organs and guts was because that's how he saw people due to his X-ray vision. Seems no one caught this.
