3 Best And 3 Worst Things About Fat Thor TSSI: The worst thing about Fat Thor is that people are still talking about Fat Thor. It's is intentionally boiling down a nuanced character to a single dimension, whether he is fit or fat, which tends to be what we do in the larger society in real life. I like that Thor is not actually so confident and cocky as he pretends to be, that the facade he puts up can shatter. I like that he has a hard time coping with constant loss despite being a god. He's not the one note character he was in the first two movies. And his redemption arc in Endgame doesn't involve him losing a massive amount of weight before the end. He still contributes. He's still the god of thunder. His value and self-worth do not lie in how fit he is.

Ultimately, fat Thor was human. Being depressed, getting addicted, having emotional breakdowns, crying. Theyre all things humans go through and its great that Marvel are showing us that being emotional isnt being weak. I really like what they did with thor

Some might have seen him as a joke but he showed that even heroes hurt feel pain and loss. As in real life they do too but what counts was he was there when his friends needed him skinny or fat thats all that counts

I can relate to Thor because I was a strong football player and now I'm a fatty fatty fat guy. It made me feel good seeing a manly man God going through life problems like me, Thor felt like a real being.
