There is only one company that is allowed to use Spiderman, and any Marvel characters for that matter: Marvel Studios, owned by Disney. Disney, I'm pretty sure you could just go straight-up buy Sony Pictures. On that note, you should see if you can't eventually buy Dreamworks, as well. Not the DCU, though, because it's so bad, Marvel and DC should never be owned by the same company, lest the run the risk of crossing and ruining Marvel.

Look for there to be another avengers move it will take at least 2 years and maybe even more. Hopefully they would have struck a deal by then. Sony said they were disappointed that the hero might no longer be able to appear in MCU films, but said that it hoped things might change in the future. I really hope they do because spider man is my favourite superhero and the mcu will not be the same without him

i get a nausea feeling every time i see Tom holland as spiderman. And his fat friend. He is not spider man just spider-tech circus man. And the heroine for the character MJW. Painful. And for Aunt May both Rosemary and Sally are perfect for the role. But Marisa, i dont get the feeling of Mother or Aunt who resembles as mother when seeing her.

Why don't tom Holland leave spiderman role when spiderman is going to sony. If Holland leaves sony would have no chance to reboot spiderman again which the won't do. As soon as diseny gets the rights of spidermans back. Tom holland should apply for the role again.
No other reboot no other spiderman flop film by sony.

Spidey needs to return. Sony just want money and they do not care about quality. The SUMC has just one movie and the MCU has Over 20. Morbius may become a good movie, but people do not seem to care about the next Jared Leto project. Sony has too many problems. They should invest on the projects they have for the animated spider-verse.

1st Sony exec: Spiderman is doing really well now with Homecoming, Far From Home and the MCU tie ins.
2nd Sony exec: We definitely have to get him back. It will take us at least 3 movies to screw up the franchise for a third time.

Great to have had you Spidey. Cant say Ill miss you though. Too much good stuff cooking up in the MCU to start whining about this departure. I never did find the villains in Spiderman very impressive anyway. Im really looking forward to better days in the MCU. Phase 4 and 5 here we come!

everyone is hating disney for their greed, but spiderman movies were mediocre-bad before disney took the character and made it awesome, so i say Sony is the greedy one. Disney made an awesome spiderman (after sony failed in 4 movies) and now sony want all the money for themselves.

JUST got him into the MCU and hes already out Im really disappointed I cant imagine how Tom feels. I hope he still stays as Spiderman ( Im sure he will but quite frankly Id just be so uninterested in a 4th Spider-Man after him.
