Rumor Report: Is This How Emperor Palpatine Returns In Rise Of Skywalker? ImAlive: Since Lucas Arts was sold to Disney many of the original Star Wars films don't recognize the New Star Wars as canon being it's not part of George Lucas' vision.
For instance the one prophesied whom would bring balance to the force was none other than Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader. He had fulfilled the prophecy by destroying the Jedi Order scattering the remaining Jedi across the Galaxy. According to the code of the Jedi they are forbidden to be married because being married and having a family is an attachment. The only way for the Jedi Order to return if it was reestablished which Luke Skywalker attempted and failed which is why he was the last Jedi. And think about this Darth Vader brought balance to the force when he killed Emperor Palpatine aka Darth Sidius the last Sith. That was the end.
The problem with Rey is that Like Skywalker refused to train her as a Jedi and apparently Kylo Ren killed off the remaining Jedi Luke Skywalker taught essentially he became a Dark Jedi and Luke Skywalker went into exile. And we know that Like Skywalker destroyed the remaining documents which held the teachings of the Jedi Order. So Rey never was a Jedi even though she is a force user. And Kylo Ren is a Solo not a Skywalker even though his mother Leia Organa is the twin sister of Like Skywalker children take the father's last name. Now it was Emperor Palpatine who feared the children of Skywalker that would be Luke and Leia because they would bring about the destruction of the Emperor and his Empire which they done. Luke turned his father Anakin Skywalker back to the light side of the force which resulted in the death of Emperor Palpatine and Leia being the leader of the Rebellion defeated the Empire.
So how does Rey fit into this? She doesn't if Luke had children he broken the code of the Jedi therefore he would be expelled from the Jedi Order meaning he would had no longer been a Jedi. The Jedi teaching is Dogmatic which is tradition that cannot be changed. Basically certain truths that cannot be contradicted.

I like Darth sidious and Vader more than the Jedi. They're more true to our human nature. The Jedi are too rigid that they fail to see their short comings. It would be boring to just have a good without an evil, therefore the balance never was to get rid of either entirely.

One thing's for sure: the film will be filled with subtle feminism and diversity promoting overtones. Can't wait to see how OP rey is in this one! And how a rag tag group of diverse rebels defeats the evil white nationalis. I mean white empire.

The death star exploded violently on a scale that nothing could have survived. This is NOT star wars, it's disney and their Lame vision of a once successful franchise that is now permanently disfigured. I'm not interested any longer!

ive been cautiously optimistic about these sequels, though I hated TLJ obvioiusly. but if they do this, im DONE with star wars. They cant shit all over the original trilogy, and the rise and fall and rise of anakin skywalker like this.

A lot of people hate on this theory, yet accept that Maul was cut in half, thrown down a similar shaft, and survived. You believe that but not that the most powerful Sith EVER could survive something similar?
reply

So basically the original trilogy is worth nothing. The death star is pointless when u can just strap a light speed engine to anything large to destroy planets. Darth Vader didn't bring balance to the force
reply

I hope it's a spiritual return, or a return by clones. but if Maul can survive being cut in half and falling down a shaft, surely Palpatine could survive that, right?
reply

Maybe Palpatine had a double/decoy the whole time of the prequels and original trilogy and then the real Palpatine surfaces on the grid in The Rise of Skywalker.
reply

Actually he made Clones of himself. and his spirit reconnected with a Clone that was made. believe it. Read the Books before glorifying None-sense. Believe that!
