Things We Want To See In El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie Control: Walter is not dead. Not because I don't want him to be, but he's not. By the end of El Camino, we will know he's alive. Jesse will struggle his way to freedom and to just survive only to find out Walt is alive. in protective custody, but alive. To all of us Walter was dead. Even though it was never confirmed. It just made sense. We didn't need confirmation. It was just a fitting ending to his sad journey. It felt right. So the question is, can we keep him alive for a good enough reason, a second with more closure ending? Is there a story to tell there? A reason for Walter White to have lived to continue his story one last time. I think so.

Walt hasn't been confirmed dead everybody. Jessie could have turned around and saved him. I hope he didn't though bc that would just take away from the season finale so much. It's doubtful you will see Walt alive again.
