They lost a HUGE amount of money because Disney Plus is not available to most of the world. So a billion people who would have happily handed Disney their money just went and watched the show on bootleg sites. And its not like it couldnt be done, either. Netflix figured it out years ago. And Disney doesnt have to negotiate with copyright holders like Netflix does.

i got a talking baby yoda on order its taking 7 months lol. Baby Yodas worth the wait. im sure the money will flood in once the merch is out there i know ill be spending up big time ive been keeping an eye out but theres not a lot out yet just small things i live in New Zealand and its rather dead for merch.

I dont know if they are idiots or genius. Seriously, if you dont know something is a big hit, like baby yoda, then of course the toys wouldnt launch in time for Holiday gifts. Introducing him as a surprise was the right choice! No need for marketing the child.
