With South Koreas Parasite winning the 2020 Oscar for Best picture, the possibility of foreign film beating Endgame could be true. Notice that its very rare for foreign films to be shown on US theaters whereas international theaters regularly release popular American movies. Maybe with South Koreas win, the exposure and accessibility to popular foreign films will be the new trend in the US Market which would then increase the chances of a movie beating Endgames record because right now I dont see any possibility in the movies mentioned

There is nothing to beat the Endgame boxoffice right now. The only thing that could change that is another Marvel movie (and no Black Panther isn't one of them. It's the lost boys that are comming home: X-Men and Fantastic Four. While X-Men had some success under Fox, F4 were terrible, and a succesful reboot will surely be something to go to the cinema. Other than that, there isn't anything big enough to smash that record for now. Having 10 years to back it off, it will be very hard for anything to break the record, to be honest.

OBVIOUSLY movies will continue to break records for money gross, as movie admission ticket prices continue to increase every year.
The rate of ticket price increases over time, outpaces inflation by a significant margin, also, so it's still not a comparison that accurately depicts how absolutely popular a movie is versus another movie.

If marvel was clever it would point out that end game is actually only one part of many. From iron man 1 to avengers end game is technically only one movie. Somebody work out the overall take and i don't think anyone will be beating them any time soon. Not to mention the fact it will just continue from one to the next

If the DCU plan well. they can set up the movies to where both the DCU can go against Mortal Kombat in a endgame like movie. Mortal Kombat will have to make a few movies as well to lead up to the Final part tho. I really believe this concept will save the DCU. this movie will definitely break records

Avatar benefited from the re-emergence of 3-D that was supposedly superior than past versions. and those shows were more expensive than 2-D showings. So, the box office was juiced by 3-D curiosity more than the film itself, which was. ok, but nothing groundbreaking outside of the 3-D gimmick.

Hows is any movie going to break Endgame Sales? It took them 10 years of careful planning and writing to earn that big pay off. No one else has the formula down. Studios are mostly interested in just quick cash grabs and not putting out quality films. Id like to see studio try.

Record holder for top grossing movie in:
Domestic US and Canada: Star Wars Force Awakens (Star Wars is most popular in this area)
International: Avatar
Worldwide: Avengers Endgame
Only Avatar sequel has a chance to beat the Endgame's record and even all 3 records.

If the DCEU took their time with their franchise like the MCU did with theirs, Justice League 2 featuring Darkseid couldve competed with it.
Batman v Superman had a greater opening weekend than the first two Avengers movie, and that was with bad reviews and whatnot.
