The Real Reason Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD Is Ending
video description
By the end of Season 5, the show decreased to 1 million viewers.
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD never really seen a huge increase in viewership and tv ratings.
The viewership in the U. S. and tv ratings just started decreasing ever since Season 1.
Throughout the seasons, the show kept going back up and down repeatedly but never really saw a huge increase in viewership and tv ratings.
Loss of interest.
People began losing interest in the show and stopped watching.
In my opinion, it is really only the loyal fans like me that stuck around which helped the tv ratings and helped the show to remain on the air all these years.
Ever since Season 1, the show began struggling in U. S. viewership and tv ratings.
I think it is time for it to end since it is Season 7.
Most, if not all, tv shows last about six to seven seasons long anyway.
Xena Warrior Princess lasted to six seasons until it was finally ended.
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air lasted for six seasons.
Boy Meets World lasted for seven seasons.
Friends lasted for ten seasons!
It's amazing the show lasted for this long.
And it is sad for us loyal fans to see it end but we all know it is time.
Due to no increase in tv ratings and viewership.
I think is because Avengers: Endgame was a huge ending for the Marvel Cinematic Universe for everyone.
Thank you to all you loyal fans out there for sticking around and for helping the show to remain as long as it did.

It's
I'm currently watching the third season and now then I see this. It's quite shocking to be honest. But I do hope that in some way, some characters in AOS transfer to the MCU. I just feel like it would be best to see them continue on working in that universe. It can be from the movies or the Disney plus shows. I don't mind either way. I just want to see them.
Also, I keep imagining how some of the original members of the Avengers would react upon seeing Coulson alive.

Seven seasons and a movie!
But seriously, it has been an honor and a privilege to follow this show and watch as it evolved into some of the most interesting stories out there. This was a missed opportunity for Marvel, I wish they could see the value in this show and move it to Disney+, you wouldn't even have to bring the whole cast, just a few to seed a new unit in SHIELD and continue this wild adventure. At least we'll always have reruns.

Love Agents of Shield and have from season 1 and still fairly loyal to it (I have missed a few episodes. Been some excellent seasons, some average ones also. I think it is good to end the show, it could go on for 20+ seasons and end up like some of the other shows. Agents of Shield Miami, Agents of Shield Los Angeles, Moon, Skrull empire etc. Always happy to see some spin offs though.

i have no idea how i came across aos, but i remember watching it for the first time and instantly falling in love with the show and its characters. the little nods to tony or cap make it so fun to watch, and the acting is 5000/10. chloe bennet plays daisy johnson/skye so well, it would've been nice to see her make an appearance in an mcu film. the entire cast is amazing, its so sad to see it end.

the last two seasons have been absolutely dreadful to watch. Time travel in space, being caught in their own minds. The first few years were great because it was about the characters in shield and finding more like themselves, then it turned in to one long episode for the whole season trying to get back to their norm. They really should have ended this show after season 4.

You're a bit behind here:
October 15, 2019 - Kevin Feige has been named chief creative officer of Marvel Entertainment, Variety reports, putting him in a position to oversee Marvel Television, Marvel Animation, and Marvel Comics. Feige will hold the role in addition to serving as president of Marvel Studios
So he's over the television and comics too now.

for me. there has only been one other show I loved this much. AirWolf. OK I love Heroes and Vilnians. I hate to say it but Disney will flop an absolute gem. UNLESS. they can get over the fact that there are people out there who love this type of writing and action and camp and. thank you for clarifying why Age Of Ultron really felt disconnected from the rest. kudos

I liked the seasons up until Dove Cameron's story arc, then I became annoyed with the villains; they were persistent in the wrong way, the plots felt contrived and I'll be damned if I'd ever let Fitz yell at me the way he has with the team. I'll miss it because it was something to watch, but I'm glad to see it go.

This show is my favorite thing in Marvel. This is coming from someone who spent last summer buying all the MCU Movies. I started the show in September and it became by far my all-time favorite show. I was bored in the first half of season one, but Im glad I kept watching because each season progresses more and more.
