J. K. Rowling's Biggest Harry Potter Reveals
video description
As for Hermione going with Harry instead of Ron. I don't know. Neither of Harry nor Ron have been totally fair with Hermione while they've been growing up. However, I can't help but feel that Harry has been more fair than Ron has. Then again, I can see Harry and Hermione consider each other in such high regard (she sees him as very courageous and he sees her as very smart) that having a romantic relationship never really occurs to them. Then again, again, they've all been through death-defying adventures together and that does tend to throw people together (who knows how long they've got.
That being said, I really like the argument Harry had with himself when he figured out that he liked Ginnie (She's your best mate's sister. That just makes it worse. Also, I'm more than a little tired of stories that involve a boy and girl in school being close friends becoming romantically involved. It's like it isn't possible for a school-aged boy and girl to ONLY be friends. That was one of the things I liked about Kim Possible since Kim and Ron would help each other deal with their romantic life. And then they screwed that up in the finale. :-(

Hermione should've ended up with Harry at least in the movies, they share much more meaningful scenes together and you can see a relationship of trust and care for one another, with Ron instead they are only fighting or being jealous or needy with the only signs of atraction being Hermione saying oh that's kind of smart ron here and there, there's no chemistry between them, the only good scene they share is the it's leviOsa no leviosA

In the books, Ron and Hermione make sense, as does Harry and Ginny. The movies, which are awesome, don't support these relationships. A lack of chemistry maybe, also they did not do Ginny justice. That character could have been so much more. Book Ginny is spunky, cool, chill and powerful. Athletic and fun. I feel like the movies missed that and made her into some love lost sad interpretation.

I learned the silent t pronunciation of Voldemort's name from the Scholastic Books website when I first started reading the series. It also gave me the correct pronunciation of Hermione (Her-mi-O-knee) instead of the one used by Jim Dale in the audiobooks (Her-mon-knee. Nonetheless, the audiobooks are awesome and I recommend listening to them. Jim Dale does a wonderful job.

The now-almost-canon mispronunciation of Voldemort's name reminds me of what happened with Terry Pratchett's character Magrat. Pratchett meant her name to be pronounced like a sloppy version of Margaret, but everyone kept saying mag-rat because they just didn't know any different. Finally Pratchett just gave up and accepted mag-rat as canon.
RIP, Sir Terry.

I like my theroy of Snape hating Neville so deeply because he knew that he could of been the chosen one and if Voldermort would of picked Nevilles family Lilly would of still been alive, and thats why Snape was always so hatefull to Neville because deep down he resented the fact that Nevilles mother still lived in some way

From the time I read the first book I had a feeling Harry would end up with Ginny. And after reading reading goblet of fire I head the stronger feeling Ron and Hermoine would end up together based on how jealous he gets every time Krum is near or even brought up in conversation.

Maybe she can write a new story, just to let us know about what happened with Harry and the others, the book Harry Potter and the cursed child is a peace of sh&, we can implore her to do this little fan service, Harry is more important than A. S. P

I think Mrs Rowling has done a disservice to her books for constantly saying she would change things. Her books are perfect the way she wrote them, but the movies used the actors incorrectly to create many of these problems. Stick to your guns!

I actually pronounced it Voldemort with the silent t since I was young just because I knew it was French. Is it Grindelwald with a v sound? That's how I always said it, since I know German, but some of my friends have told me otherwise?
