This Forgotten Jennifer Lawrence Film Is Totally Owning Netflix Lamar: This film is really bad. I didnt feel for any of the characters. The only reason why I see anyone giving praise to Jennifer was because she is attractive and thats about it. The mom and daughter relationship never really unfolded, because unnecessary rude remarks to one another. Its a very predictable script and probably one of the worst movies Jennifer ever did. You dont get to see her acting talent at all and I honestly feel it was a nice dollar for her to do. There isnt a message to the story, and maybe it doesnt have to be. I wanted to feel for the male lead but his performance was flat and his looks was good for the camera. They show a 20 second clip at the end where you find out his parents made him became his sister, Karen, after she dies on the swings, which is traumatizing, but doesnt live up to the potential to what it could have been. Its a F+ type of movie. If you have nothing to watch, be my guess. Its a movie that got attractive people to make up for a lazy story line and probably one of the worst dialogue I have ever listened to. Dickhole is the new asshole- Whatever the Hell Jennifer Lawerence character was in the movie.

I just love psychological suspense, so didn't know she was in it when I first got it to watch- a long while ago. i think she is an amazing actress though. But i also love the guy that played Ryan- had to look him up because I know I see him all the time, but he is Max Thieriot, and plays on Shield. He's a really great actor too. Love them both and Elizabeth Shue - she has also played in another psychological thriller, but can't remember the name, You guys need to watch that too if you like psych thrillers.

Have to admit, that initially I watched it purely because of JLaw - in my view, anything featuring her is worth watching. Glad to see her popularity hasn't waned to the degree much of the press would suggest. Looking forward to seeing her latest projects and hoping her production efforts go well. when the Big Ol' C-19 finally lets everyone get back to work that is.

I first heard of her from The Bill Engvall Show before she did any of her movies. The show also had Bill Engvall (of course) and Nancy Travis as the parents, and Lawrence played the oldest of their 3 children. The show only lasted 3 seasons, but I could tell that she had potential to really make it big, and she sure did!

I grew up on the movie Karate Kid so it boggles my mind that the lovely Elisabeth Shue is old enough to be Jennifer Lawrence's Mom. I haven't done the math (yet) but I kinda don't want to. Boggles. my. mind.

I actually saw this in the movies with my horror meetup. I wanted to see it for Elisabeth Shue, a very good choice for Lawrence mother actually. The movie was okay, PG13!

We all just watch it because of her. I love her with a passion but I know this isnt her best film. Wish it wouldve been written a little better.

Glad they mentioned Winters Bone. Both these movies highlighted her great talent. It's zero surprizes she only got better during Hunger Games.

if you want to see an excellent early Jennifer Lawrence movie, check out Winter's Bone. Dark, engrossing story and very well acted.
