The thing is, Zack Snyder is a really bad director, all of his works have no charm, he hasn't grown since Watchmen, and Man of Steel and Batman V Superman showed how short sighted he is at making compelling and empathetic characters.
His vision is full of edgy and gritty events, focusing more on spectacle than making you care about the characters at all.
I mean, his movies are fun when the action plays, and he is the best at showing those action angles, but the moment characters development must happen, when it is present, it's sluggish and incoherent.
I praise him trying to paint himself as this humble down to earth man, specially mentioning he is taking no pay, like that would really affect him on the long run, it's great he is at a place in life he can do this kind of passion project for free.
Overall, I'm not really excited for any of his films, other directors doing DC films have nailed it, and he could learn about what they have done to improve his film making.

If the snyder cut will just show a bunch of wimpy useless heroes without superman then it's no different than before. Justice League isn't like this, these guys are basically gods in their own ways not as powerful as superman but given that they banded together, the villain in this movie (whatever his name is) shouldn't make them look pathetic. Added insult to injury is when superman said this guy still bothering you? . Don't get me wrong, I love the cast, but I hate how this is written

I am sick of people bashing Zack Snyder. I seen all the movies he did and I own a digital copy of Justice League I bought from Google. I love every movie Zack made. He could not make Justice League the way he wanted because his daughter committed suicide and passed away. He had to drop the film because he had to be with his family. If you want to blame someone. Blame Joss Wheadon. He was the one that damaged the franchise.

My best friend killed himself just a week after Autumn Snyder did. There s no correlation of course but while I ve never been a fan, I know what Snyder must be going through even now and wish him the best in all his future endeavors, both careerwise and personal. The whole DCEU is nothin' but a cash grab. They haven't crafted their story as carefully as the MCU has. It felt more like they cobbled together a few movies and then threw out the Justice League as fast as they could, instead of takin' their time and doin' it right. But in the end, I really don't care. It's existence won't hurt the MCU, so it's a big fat whatever.

It's more than a cash grab it's a cinematic attack of opportunity.
the Snyder cut never existed before and now no matter what comes out you've deluded yourself into thinking it's going to be better than the original so it can't fail.
even if it's still an objectively terrible movie you will all bark that this will be the greatest superhero movie ever.

i dont get the hate for BvsS. it wasnt amazing but it was an enjoyable ride, and i actually thought affleck played a really good kevin conroy like batman.

The only good part of Justice League was the part where Flash was trying to get behind Superman only to realize that Superman was following him with his eyes. That means for 20-30 million they are going to have to do a whole lot of fixing.

Snyder cut the time that marvel did in half with man of steel jumping right into BVS then going into the Snyder cut which would have been crazy and is gonna be crazy we are gonna see a whole new film with all new action and story
