Plot Holes In Godzilla Vs. Kong Everyone Ignored

Godzilla vs. Kong is now available to watch in theaters and on HBO Max. Naturally, a film about two giant monsters duking it out is going to have a few leaps of logic. Here are some plot holes in the film that you may not have noticed. The iteration of King Kong we see in the crossover was first introduced in 2017's Kong: Skull Island. This version of the character was one of the biggest audiences had ever seen to date, only being beaten in height by his 1962 counterpart in King Kong vs. Godzilla. Kong measures an impressive 104 feet in height, via ScreenRant. That movie may have been set in the 1970s, but Kong has gone through quite the growth spurt over the last 50 years. Materials from the film indicate that in Godzilla vs. Kong, the ape now measures at his tallest he's ever been on the big screen at 335 feet. The series does try to offer an explanation for this with an old interview from producer Alex Garcia saying how Kong was an adolescent in Skull Island and that he'd be doing some growing between the two films. There's even a line in Skull Island where a character mentions how Kong's going to keep growing. However, that still doesn't explain the scene where we see the skeletons of Kong's parents, and they're roughly the same size as he is. Pyan1603: I hope they inlude how kong walked from Antarctica to Hong kong Or how god zilla blasted a hole through hongkong without causing an earthquake/tsunami Or how their are any people left in that cityafter all that or how sometimes it seemed like their size kept changing through the movie

There were huge plot holes in the sea battle scene. Firstly, Kong should have drowned. He is not Aqua-Kong. But Godzilla is adept at staying underwater. Considering how much Kong was yelling and exerting himself he should have run out of breath and lost consciousness. Secondly, depth charges shouldn't be able to disorient Godzilla. It is my understanding that conventional weapons have no effect Godzilla. Thirdly, if Godzilla was disorientated, why wasn't Kong disorientated? Godzilla was grappling Kong. Kong should have been hit by those depth charges. So many holes.

Yeah but we all expected that, we wanted a ginormous harambe vs atomic trex!
Also, apex simply didn't care to find the guy, heck everyone else ignored him or passed him off as crackpot.
The airlift was likely considered beforehand but fuel capacity. The airlift succeeded because presumably they near enough Antartica so that fuel and what other strains weren't so much trouble. The rest. Yeah lol

its a movie about a giant nuclear dinosaur fighting a giant monkey with an axe and then eventually team up to fight a robot clone of nuclear dinosaur made out of the skull of a giant three headed alien dragon, of course theres gonna be plot holes

Kong grew that huge because of the worlds continued use of nuclear energy and stuff. Plus they did hurdle a few nukes at the other kaiju. Plus him being a n apex titan im sure he had to grow to that size after he sensed Godzilla and the others.

for the Kong growing over 100 feet after 50 years I'm pretty sure its just because titans have longer lifespans than humans so therefore they take longer to mature, basically 20 years for us is like 5 for him or something.

I mean it s only logical that Godzilla is that powerful. I mean r we forgetting that Godzilla power up so much with the help of mothra that he was like walking atomic bomb that killed ghidorah with two single blast

This is a big dumb Godzilla and King Kong movie. It's not a complicated thriller or detective movie. It's the video game Rampage come to life. I'm not going to watch it because I want intellectual stimulation.

Kong measures an impressive 104 feet in height. No, not impressive for those who don't immediately understand feet or inches. Try to include metric measurements for the rest of the world in next videos, please.
