I thought Maisie's significance was a little overplayed, as was her being a clone. I get why Wu and BioSyn wanted her, but outside of the unique way her mom altered her DNA, there's really nothing that significant about being a cloned human in a world where we've already figured out how to clone EXTINCT animals. Cloning existing ones is child's play by comparison. The news wouldn't have even known she existed, and other than noting that she exists and doing a piece on her, the rest of the world wouldn't be actively looking for her. Being the first human clone is noteworthy, just like the first cloned anything is, but it's not really that different from maternal twins and invitro fertilization. Just because your genes are the same as your mom's doesn't mean you're the same person, and I was frustrated that Claire didn't say that to her when she was questioning who she was (before she found out her sister was also the one who carried her. Like, just calm down, kid. We've had identical twins for a long time now, it's not that weird that you share the exact genes with another human. Nurture vs nature, yada yada yada.
I also hope future movies buckle down into a more mature view of how ecosystems work. The idea that the only ecosystem collapse that matters is the human agricultural one was frustrating. There's absolutely no way all those dinosaurs in the wild wouldn't decimate existing ecosystems. They are invasive species. They are not going to just join in with the existing wildlife like nothing happened. SO many animals would likely go extinct if this happened, and several of the videos they showed at the end were so silly. Why would a mosa just join a pod of baleen whales? They don't even eat the same food, and the mosa would be more likely to prey on the calves (if not the adults) than just hang out with the pod for no reason. Same with the quetz just migrating with birds. The birds would likely not hang out with such a large animal, and the quetz would most likely eat the birds. Really, they should be trying to do something like what they did with the locusts to ALL of the wild dinos. Try to find some way to render them sterile so they can live out their lives, but then die out rather than just be allowed to destroy the animals that exist here naturally. Human's do not have a good history with introducing and properly handling invasive species, and it's annoying how the movies don't address this, and, indeed, act like it's not even an issue. One of the things JP did better than any of the sequels was present the science in a way that at least SEEMED pretty realistic at the time. Since then the movies have done a lot of dumbing down of the realism, and it shows. I don't need it to be uber-realistic. but I'd love it to be reasonably smart about it.

Come to think of it the girl's status as a clone of Lockwood's deceased daughter contradicts certain events. In the second movie they say Lockwood and Hammond had a falling-out prior to the events of the original Jurassic Park and that Lockwood trying to clone his daughter was the cause of that falling-out. But as we can see his daughter didn't die until 13 years prior to this movie. In the events of the original Jurassic Park or over 20+ years ago.
If doing math wrong was a crime then whoever wrote this script needs to rot in prison for this massive plot hole.

I hope there is another series for this, many unanswered questions from previous Jurassic series. The part where dodgson gets the can and establish biosyn. And also how everything slowly pans out. Overall i enjoy the movie. But many questions still unanswered. :\
Edit: And also the part where dodgson died, the can rolled out too in the hyperloop. lol and he died inside like how nedry died inside the jeep.

I hate Wu wasn't punished somehow after all the bad he deliberately manufatured during so much time. Is it because he's not white or am I bringing (positive) racism unnecessarily into this? I'm only saying this because in all Jurassic Park/World movies, when there is a human villain, they are always only white and always get conveniently killed by dinos.

Ir was a food movie but here is the thing. Never try to force something. The whole one liner thing needs to stop! Half the fcking time they mumble it and I couldn't even tell what they were saying. Second WHY do we need call back scenes or things that happen in scenes. It's like this move wanted to bring back all the call backs just for what nostalgia?

In Fallen Kingdom, Maisie had just a hint of a British accent, with her nanny telling her not to take bath, but rather to take a bahth, which she considered to be proper English.
But after four years of living with Owen and Claire, her British accent is much stronger. That makes no sense!
And now I think they need to make another trilogy!

I will never forget reading an article sometime around 2008 or 2009 where some scripts and concept art leaked from a then planned Jurassic Park reboot where there were weaponized and DNA-mutated dinosaurs. Everyone at the time thought, there is absolutely no way they are going to make this into a Jurassic Park movie! And here we are.

Here's my unanswered question. What happened to the Spinosaurus. Is it fully grown on Isla Sorna. ? Is it locked away in some cage cause the animal was too dangerous to be released. ? I really hope now that this isn't the end so that the Spinosaurus can someday return to the big screen.
