International Code from 0: 18 to 1: 04,
He Did It from 0: 00 to 0: 33 and from 0: 43 to 0: 54,
and End Titles 6: 31 to 7: 32;
-the majority of first Independence Day actors featuring Jeff Goldblum as their own characters: David Levinson, Brent Spiner: Brackish Okun, Judd Hirsch: Julius Levinson, Adam Baldwin: Russell's Major Mitchell, Casse: Miguel Caught Alicia Casse and Troy Casse, but also Bill Pullman: Thomas J. Whitmore (in a flashback) and Will Smith: Steven Hiller is in a Flashback, or resurrected explaining that his character did not die during the explosion of an alien hybrid fighter, but that everyone thought he was dead although his body was not found, or that he was thought to be dead while he was in a coma.
-A major fight of the resistance, which composes the humans and other extraterrestrial races victims of the Harvesters, against the Harvesters.

It was not the movie but the reuse of old characters. There was an opportunity to bring in new characters. Hollywood has this formula that you always have to use the same characters. But SciFi fans are more into the SciFi than the characters. The second movie missed the opportunity to better utilize the technology learned from the fallen space craft. And, made is seem that the original cast were the only ones smart enough to do this. Now a new species is going to provide earth with superior technology to defend other planets. I guess from Hollywood's point of view, only the original cast is capable of doing this. Really?

And to think this is the same director who did and ruined the Godzilla franchise and now has ruined Independence Day resurgent. How is that idiots still working in Hollywood after the Godzilla movie. He should of been fired years ago and let someone else do Independence Day movie. But let's all agree or disagree that Independents resurgent. never happened and it isn't canon. Hopefully someday someone else will make a real Independent Day 2 with Will Smith this time heck we're getting a real Ghost Busters 3 called Ghost Busters Afterlife so the chances of a real Independent Day 2 or 3 will probably happen.

they did not ad the II movie enough. i have talked to so many that did not even know it existed! no wonder the second one did not go like they wanted. it was great movie too. its never like the first no matter what movie it is. they just need to pull in some crazy super starts in it is all for 3rd one ad promote it more is all. and bring will smith back in and others. IF SOAP can bring back tv sid-con who had head cut off in their previous serious years prior in their movie and bring him back to sally fields, they can think of something creative for Will smith's and any other character they want LOL

If it hadn't been for lazy screenwriting and an immensely rushed story progression the 2nd movie could've had so much potential. I mean: they killed off Vivica A. Fox' in a rush and no one actually cared (her character's son was in a 3-minute-grief and that's it. Dr. Okun's partner died (the one who cared for him during his 20-y-coma) and a few minutes later he's joking again.
I loved the movie's opening, but after that it went downhill in an instant

what just naz opening for the next episode sincerly it was bad. why not take a sequel with if possible the original casting. no will smith anymore, a movie who like more comedy than attack invasion. there is few good parts but not enought and trailers all massive destroy secen are in trailer. yep i would like see id3 but with more dramatic effect and less comedy

I'm tired of Disney's crap. I used to be a big fan and own a load of movies that they've released over the years, but when they started attacking the fans after TLJ and shove their political views into movies I stopped purchasing from them. Did the same after they bought out FOX. I no longer buy Disney and FOX movies.

Just watched Resurgence for only the scond time since seeing it at the cinema when it first came out after catching the original the other night. Actually quite enjoyed it and it was better than I remembered. I would be up for a third film, I doubt it will happen - reboot maybe - third film, no, which is a shame.

Or you could just. y'know. retcon the sequel and make a new ID2, that way Smith can easily come back. Like how Halloween 2018 was a new direct sequel to the first Halloween, despite there already already a Halloween 2.
But then again Indepence Day was already perfectly fine off without a sequel so, eh.

I know will smiths character they said he died but why not make a 3rd one now where its because he was captured, not that he died. People think that he did but think about ending of resurgence they said now their going after them. Will is not that much busy with movies right now right or is he.
