Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, pulse-pounding twists and turns, and an action-packed ending. What else could we ask for in a movie? From character motivations to themes to hints at a sequel, we're here to explain the ending of The Gray Man. Warning: Major spoilers ahead! Andy: As much as I really liked this movie I can t help but not liking Chris Evan s as a bad guy. Not that I m used to seeing him as one but the fact that if I was to meet the character on the street I d not feel threatened by him.
It was more camp and not psycho in my thinking, he didn t sell the character to me.
Ryan Gosling on the other hand portrays a character who does violent things for a reason and mostly they are to protect the people he cares about.
Chris, should just return as America s ass.

Ending only makes sense as a sequel set up device. Otherwise, it's nonsense. At the end of the Croatia fight, Brewer is the last of the 'baddies' left alive, and she's not even a field agent. Meanwhile, Miranda is outside the maze having picked up the niece. So, Six and Miranda, having started the fight at odds of 2 vs 50 or so, now that they've whittled it down to 2 vs 1 and are now at a numerical advantage. decide to surrender? Miranda is armed to the teeth (including a sniper rifle) and body armored and could have taken an admin officer in civvies with only a 9mm pistol out w/o her even knowing or seeing what hit her. So, Miranda gets Six treatment, they expose the corrupt Charmichael, and Miranda becomes the hero of the CIA, accepts the promotion that comes with, and the niece is safe forever, correct? Nope, instead, Miranda opts to go back to being an underling of Charmichael, surrendering the chip and all evidence they have and surrendering the niece back into a hostage so that they have to do everything all over again in the sequel. Yeah, right.

I loved it. Most brains can t absorb the plot and the subliminal messages this movie had, and thats why they pass the buck that is their lack of intelligence to comprehend, and say the movie sucks. The fact that it also alternates between past and present doesn t help them either.

Who the Hell needs this ending explained!
This half-assed, too expensive flick was mostly a waste of money. Stick with the far superior books. This movie was unfortunately a waste of millions of someone's dollars.

Fantastic film, from afar the story line is a pretty standard one if you compare it to other films but they directed it in a way that made it feel really fresh. Very good watch

I think this movie will be too expensive to make a profit. The amount of scenery Chris Evans chews on throughout the movie will deny Netflix any profits.
