So it looks like the Conan-Doyle Estate has given permission to use Moriarty, finally. If memory serves, the TNG folks assumed Sherlock Holmes characters were in the public domain, but weren't. After Moriarty's second appearance, the TNG folks were told they couldn't use him anymore. Or maybe the characters are public domain now. Either way, this should prove entertaining.

LORE. huh. between using his brain to create a race of slaves(that were destroyed when they rebelled) and Picard letting Data die. yeah, he has one hell of a grudge.
