Im thinking that Helms could pull if off by playing the witcher games and watching the series to really get into character, Gerald is a generally quiet man with slow deliberate movments and gestures, thor boy is going to have to learn to make slow deliberate gestures like the charcater Gerald does. Even then now that we saw Henry pull the character flawlessly both visually and by behavior and mannerisms its definitely going to be a challenge for Helms to pull off

Liam, sweetheart that he is, lacks the gravitas and presence needed to portray Geralt.
Not to mention that Geralt s character was known all too well by Henry, who managed to add to the role.
I am deeply disappointed, but nonetheless I will give Liam a shot.
Also. maybe this means we will see Henry in another white wig. and riding a dragon.

If this show has any hopes of surviving, the real heroes of the show will be the make-up and wardrobe department lol! Geralt has a very unique look which Henry Cavill had to do almost nothing to achieve. Trying to give Liam Hemsworth anywhere even close to the same look and selling him based on that look will be Oscar-worthy!

The show is dead once he leaves. The showrunners strayed too far from the games/books, and is probably why Henry left. With his departure, anyone who stayed simply because Cavill was the perfect Geralt. Will now clock out for good. This show is dead now. Netflix, after Resident Evil, proves you can't do adaptations. Period.

The biggest thing I've taken away from this whole thing is that we are getting a minimum of 4 seasons. As for will it survive? I'm genuinely not sure, Henry's loyalty to the source material has been the only thing stopping the writers from going majorly off track.

The writers were already making some of it tough to watch in season 2. Their poor imagination and scenes where Geralt wasn't involved were difficult to watch. So now remove Cavil from it and the recipe for disaster is complete.

It's not about the leader actor the writer is terrible if they can make season 3 good action and story telling I don't see problem with new actor I mean HOTD did it and we still love it

Toss a coin to the last season of Witcher after Henry leaves. cuz it's going to the dogs and bes sure I'll unsub from Netflix cuz that's the only good thing they have going for them atm

Simply put no the reality is we all watched this series because of henry cavill and we believed he would do the series justice. Now that he is gone im personally not watching it.

i find it impressive it survived WITH him. Hated the awful, pessimistic, destructive Superman movies with him. He just held his mug in the camera. Good in the Witcher, though!

If the 3rd drops down in quality like the 2nd season there won't be a need for a 4th for me. While I still enjoyed it, it slid quite a bit for me.
