You know. I also thought the CGI was a little. crap, but I think I have a reasonable explanation as to why. This is all just my opinion, I could be wrong, so don't take my full word for it, but please just hear me out if you got time please.
I think the reason why the CGI is not so good on most recent TV shows might have something to do with budget. I mean, a TV show tends to be something big that goes on through the span of multiple episodes and seasons. Unlike movies where it's usually just a one time thing so the CGI can tend to look decent at the very least because since movies tend to be a one time thing, not much is demanded for. Just a story, good actors, decent special effects, and a script for just one movie. Because the budget is already spent on the big part of the TV show, such as the actors, the sets, the filming, the locations, the writting, the scripts, the episodes, etc etc etc. I assume that the money for CGI can become a bit sparse and why the CGI can end up looking like it came out of a PS2 game or something.
That's my theory of course. I know nothing about movies and filmmaking in general, I'm just a casual viewer. Feel free to educate me if you must. I would be more than happy to learn more about this kind of stuff.

they vased Hyde on the classic Jekyll and Hyde story. Where the slim scientist JEkyll turns into a hulking brute called Hyde who goes on a rampage. which is hwere we got Hulk and other now adays muscled out super hero's. The design of the shows Hyde makes perfect sense and is fine. especially if you look at the young male actor who plays the Jekyll version of this Hyde monster

Only complaint I ve seen is it s lost it s core value. Wednesday would have a rebellious stage cause her parents have always been loving, supporting, respectful, and understanding.
Addams have always been the opposite of the typical family. That s why they have those core values

Yeahhhhh, it is goofy and I did find myself laughing at the cgi at times. But the creature's design is perfectly fine as its quite Burton-esque. Its the Addams so I'm not expecting like WETA Digital-level CGI but also, I'm not supposed to be laughing at CGI

I haven't heard anyone complain yet. I absolutely loved it and I absolutely loved Shehulk but that's just me but seriously. over the CGI? The show is so flipping good despite it. Loved Wednesday, come on, the dance scene? Iconic!

If I had to be forced to come up with a complaint or two, I would say that the season wasn't long enough, and that I want to see more of the rest of the Addams family. Where was Cousin It and their grandmother?

Oh come on. Any Burton fan knows to expect whimsy/campy. We're just used to seeing it in a cartoon not live action. Honestly I thought it made it authentic as the Hyde is a made up creature.

Oops! I had no idea Wednesday was accused of Anti African American racism, as well as promoting white supremacy tropes. I always respected Jenna Ortega. This is a sad day.

I liked it. Thought it was really good the CGI was kinda cartoony but that s why i like it, I think Tim Burton was a great choice.

Can these whiners just take their brains out and enjoy something make believe for once? Why does it need all the minute analysis?
