A stunning visual epic, or just way too long? Critics have seen Avatar: The Way of Water and they all have one thing to say. Jordan: My favorite part of Avatar 2 was when the UNSC Invictus crashed into the great whirl pool and set off the detonation that dried up the whole ocean. The nuclear blast looked so epic!

Really, the sequel everyone was waiting for? No one was waiting for this sequel bc no one truly gives a shit about avatar. All this media hype is ridiculous. Studio is pumping cash towards all media outlets directing them to put this shit on blast. Those that remember watching the original are a decade plus removed from this and no longer care. Furthermore, the youth of this generation don't give a shit about this movie bc they have so much more to distract them rather than watching a 3hr movie or going back and watching the original which was a ripoff of dances with wolves/fern gully in a jungle with aliens.

Not interested. The directors an utter fool I can t even imagine what the hell crap he s written in this. Been telling Hollywood a long time what I think of them by keeping my money. Just gonna keep on telling them the same thing.
But most people don t have any type of moral backbone, so I m sure they ll just throw money at this garbage

Am I the only one who gets a Cats vibe from the CGI this time around? It looks like they worked hard to get the actors faces and facial expressions much more evident than in the first film, perhaps to help differentiate the various Pandorans more visually, but it's not really working for me. They just look wrong, somehow.

I no longer trust the pro reviewers. They all seem to be sell outs these days. That being said I'm sure this movie is full of eye candy, but the trailers make this seem like the same movie as the original but under water. 3 hours? I kinda want to see it but I'm not excited about it at all.

If someone was talking about water there would be a whiner that whines about that its clear or wet or. LOL. To each their own just keep your whining to yourself. No negative nellies. Go watch your Notebook and be happy: . LOL

What everyone is not talking about is the plot. If it has made the infamous switch from low brow eco-friendly to full bore wokeness. That is the only thing that can sink something like this.

The story of the first one sucked, but it was a nice experience to watch it in a movie theatre. Maybe they raised the bar for a better story. The visuals looking great already.

Oh boy the most expensive cartoon ever made ya hoo.
Has to be 5th biggest movie ever just to break even. Part 1 was just pocahontas rehash did we want or need this?

I saw the first one only once, in theaters in 3D. It looked good but I remember getting bored and just wanting it to end. Still on the fence about seeing this one.

So a meh. story that once again is making white southern males bad guys, and the savior is a white non-southern male who embraces the blue people. Pass.

I m not sure if I ll see it. While everyone seems to be over the moon about the CGI, I have the feeling that it s like the first one, just under water

No one expected this film story to be Oscar worthy for best picture. The whole series is just a gimmick for new technology from the film studio.
