Crazy thing, he was announced as black Adam nearly a decade ago and this movie gets released at the lowest point of DCEU. Heck technically the Flash hasn t even had a single movie before the fall of the DCEU. Literally. Joker only appeared in one movie. The worse is that they really did Henry Cavil dirty with only one movie and he started the franchise. But yet Wonder Woman, aquaman and Shazam all got sequels. WB and DCEU was/is a mess. Any hope of a successful movie universe is long gone. Even the Conjuring franchise is more successful. Hope this new head can reroute the Titanic.

Please Dwayne The Rock Johnson stop joining movie franchise. Whenever The Rock joins a movie/film franchise he always takes over and makes it about himself. He ruined Jumanji, Mummy, Journey to the Center of the Earrh, GI Joe and espcially the Fast and Furious. And when Black Adam was relessed it was clear he wanted the DCEU to also be about him.

JG and PS universe will fail as well. Gunn has a weird sense of humor. Outside of the MCU, he doesn't have any other successful projects. Randomly saying stuff online, he's creating distance to his fan base. Both guys are only keeping their projects and I guarantee it will fail, just cuz they're attacking the fandom.

The Rock is weasel. He tries to come across as a likeable guy in his rehearsed, pre-planned and conveniently filmed and uploaded charitable antics and it's always a marketing ploy for attention and to sell his brand. His ego and self-importance has made him a diva and not humble as he tries to portray himself.

Maybe the reason Black Adam didn t do so well is because what happened to the Snyder verse and the route DC took that upset fans. I didn t see much of advertisement for the movie only one trailer and what Dwayne had on the can of his Zoa drinks. I do wonder if they purposely attempted to cause it to flop.

DC films are interesting, and there are no doubts. There is something they are not doing right behind close doors that mavel films are doing. I suspect. marketing, synergy among all the players to make a movie sell in the market, also not trying to out do themselves but working for one purpose.

Dwayne as an actor, doesn't matter if his acting is good or bad, has all the rights to promote his movie and character. I don't see anything wrong here. He is one of the highest paid actor. And he did try to bring Henry Cavill back to please the fans. Jeez! grow up Looper and move on!

Rock did what he did when he was in the ring and that s listen to us fans and gave us what we wanted in bringing back the best modern era Supes just for new ppl to scratch it all away and give false narratives into why it happened. Glad we got this and JL Zack Snyderverse.

He was just marketing and doing everything he could to get a character that's not really mainstream over. Idk anyone else that would've done Adam, if anyone else felt like they could've done it it would've been done already. Black Adam is a hard role no matter who does it.

Lol the rock playing the rock is why it failed along with weak co starring roles (except for Pierce Bronson) cost the film 300 million to make, it only made 300 million in ticket sales lol Marvel studios just giggling. except for the Batman (Christian Bale) series.

This happens all the time when companies change the upper level they usually get rid of projects started by others. The Rock and anyone else would try to make a franchise it's very lucrative. Its business, it's normal. You win some, you lose some.
