I just realized something: Warner Bros intentionally makes projects that support terrible people, knowing there are fans of these brands that will flock to them regardless of the implications. Hogwarts Legacy, Velma, The Flash, Aquaman 2. I'm not even a Harry Potter diehard as I've only seen the movies and nothing else so I don't care about the game. I will never watch Velma and I'm on the fence with watching the movies in theaters and considering only streaming them.
Gunn and Safran are probably recasting Barry Allen and Mera anyway but still.
Bottom line, Warner Bros sucks for making their IPs look bad from controversial decisions they make and I always love it to see people tear them apart.

IDK - a lot of the latest round of test screeners were saying the movie is BORING. I don t think it s just because of Heard - although that probably isn t helping it. Most viewers that have a problem with Heard aren t even entertaining the idea of going to see the film. I won t pay for a ticket - even if you walk out, WB still got their money from you. Would definitely defeat the purpose of boycotting the movie in objection to the studio s decision to keep Heard in. I refuse to give Safran any of my money after his statement on how fans opinions basically don t matter. I like Gunn s work, but he s in bed with the devil right now, metaphorically speaking.

F ck Amber Heard. I've already boycotted the last Fantastic Beasts movie because they cut Johnny Depp from it. I'll never watch that movie. And if Amber Heard really is in Aquaman 2, I know I won't like not watching it, but I won't. I don't know who those movie execs think they are. They don't seem willing to consider their own audiences opinions. Wasn't there another actress who was willing to play that character? Can't think of her name at the moment but she should've got that role. Too bad. Aquaman rules. It's just too bad.

Hollywood is on a steady course to implode. horrible studio exec decisions against the mainstream fans wishes, exploiting fans through streaming price gouging, and complete lack of credibility and understanding of either DC or Marvel canon. I get that they are a for-profit industry but the slightly entertaining garbage along with the behind the scenes drama and politics have killed any enthusiasm for these movies anymore. It's like I'm reliving the nightmare that was the Star Wars prequels and sequels to Episode IV.

I'm not a fan of cancel culture, generally speaking. Do I think that's mostly what's going on here? Yes, at least a bit. Do I think it's a bit earned in this case? Yes, at least a bit.
Do I think this movie would still be facing problems even if the trial hadn't happened? Yes, definitely; the first movie was very entertaining but not the best movie ever, Heard's acting was so stilted and boring imo, and the chemistry between her and Jason came across as so forced.

We watched a lot of the Amber Heard Vs Johnny Depp trail. After that distinguishing show of celebrity weirdness, we have a hard time seeing the character she's playing, instead of the notorious actress. I think that DC films should have motion captured all of her scenes, like she's Gollum. Can they do that in post? I would go see Aquaman 2, only if Amber Heard is presented as a Reverse Mermaid. Her actual legs, with a jumbo CGI fish head.

Change Flash ending to the new casted Flash that isn't ezra to renew audience approval and you can move forward for more justice league movies.

DC fans pls don't let a flawed actress ruin the entire hard work of many people in Aquaman 2. We got to accept she's in the movie but she isn't the movie. Judge her acting but don't let her acting make you judge the entire film. If DC had the power of removing her and replacing her without any money and time spent they would do it

Actually, this makes me more confident of the quality of Aquaman 2. Comic book fans hating female actors in their comic book movies is expected now. It is a given that comic book geeks don't like female heroes in their DC or Marvel movies. They prefer a sausage party when it comes to their superhero characters.

Won t pay to watch this. They should ve removed her. A man committing domestic violence will get him banned from everything. But a woman doing the same continues to get roles. Especially since she made Depp loses roles with lies. Not to mention she wasn t even great in the first one. Replace her and move on

We're still calling Aquaman a bankable character? I mean. Jason Momoa is awesome but I think the Amber Heard trial, the wait between movies, and the whole Snyderverse/ Cavill firing/ and overall rework of the DCU is going to kill it.
Plus. every DCEU sequel has been boring. Anybody see WW84?

DC is shooting itself with trying to keep amber and the flash actors. They think time will heal. Those actors didn't hurt their careers, they destroyed themselves. Bottom line im not gonna watch those two films. It also didn't help with the company recents action

Absolutely love Jason M. but there is no way I will ever support AH. I have to boycott this movie because AH. It breaks my heart for Jason M. and the rest of the folks involved with this film.
My money and time are my only voice against the evil that is AH.
