I watched the TRIAL from beginning to END, it was JUST LIKE A MOVIE, most of it I thought was a FINANCIAL TRIAL as PROSECUTOR Creighton Waters was allowed to expound on the FINANCIAL CRIMES which JUDGE Clifton Newman allowed, so many witnesses, I was amazed the discovery of the use of high tech like 'satellite GPS data' and the use of 'high tech', especially the 'CELL PHONE THAT HAD CONVINCED BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT' that ALEX was at the murder scene just a few minutes before the KILLINGS. It was educational for me - and in the END of the prosecutions ending closing remarks, I was convinced then that Alex Murdaugh was GUILTY, and that followed by the JURY's UNANIMOUS decision. I think it's JUST COMMON SENSE and HUMAN NATURE that after all that THEATRICS by the DEFENSE LAWYERS and Alex Murdaugh's BEHAVIOUR at the WITNESS STAND, HE CORROBORATED his MURDERING by LYING OPENLY and WE ARE THE WITNESSES. Justice Served.

There are clear signs of psychopathy throughout this family. Alex Murdaugh is a textbook antisocial narcissist and ergo psychopath. Thankfully, the trial, if you take out the corrupt ole boy defence, was largely impartial and the judge was excellent. This isn't over yet, unfortunately, as they will try every trick in the book to get him out of jail. The guy is a walking nightmare; grandiose; shallow; superficial emotions'; no shame, remorse or empathy. He should have received the death penalty. His alibi is ridiculous, the weight of evidence was overwhelming and the jury was correct.

The law firm knew he stole monies well in advance of the murders. Each time they failed to report it to the law board or to expel him they are just as gross and egregious in their behavior they think they re better because they paid money back but what they were supposed to do is report Alex to the board, to the police, report it to the insurance company, the families how is this firm and their lawyers still able to practice law they all aided and abetted heinous crimes by Alex.

Heck I got a dui and when I got pulled over for driving 2 years later because our vehicle had a recall and all the dash lights were on including the airbag light and my gf was pregnant and is short so she drove close to the steering wheel. and when I got pulled over I was sober. and just because I didn't have my license for a dui years ago they wanted me in jail for 8 months it took everything to get house arrest and still cost me a thousand bucks for house arrest.

Alex was so upset with Paul and Maggie. The boat crash is what sealed Alex's fate. Forensic adudit was done on Alex. Also, Alex blamed his wife for filing divorce, and forensic accounting on their finances. So, Alex wanted both of them dead. To top it off was the fact that both Maggie and Paul
were responsible for the hiding of his pills, and most likely throwing his pills down the toliet

The most bizarre part is the estimated spent on opiates. It would have been enough opiates to keep a small city fkd up. There's NO convincing me all that money went into opiates. There's some twisted financials that don't add up at all. indicating there's other parties and endeavors he's been involved with (and still probably is) that no one is talking about.

Psychopaths are interesting. They tend to be intelligent, but lacking neither a conscience nor emotional bonding, they tend to be highly manipulative. They can sweet talk you into hopping into their car, and then your badly abused body ends up in a shallow grave. They all think they can't be caught because they are so much smarter than everyone else.

I don t think he was going for insurance for buster. Harpoolian said there was no policies for him or Maggie. He wanted to throw shade at his cousin. He planned this months in advance to kill them and knew his shady cousin would be a suspect Buster more than likely would ve been next

Ugh there are so many freaking details to this story, it s almost impossible to encompass all of them in a documentary without it being waaaaaaaaaaay too long. So many threads going off in all directions. I do not envy the prosecutor s office who has to untangle all of it.

Why is everyone so shocked this happens in a lot of small towns and rural areas? Rural areas have a lot of unreported crime.
And why are so many southerners shocked? You voted a person like this as President. And you allow law enforcement to do this small rural areas.

Did he kill his son because he might have got to cocky, drew bad attention to the family, dad tried to help him get him off and the kid didn't care, kept partying acting like a spoilt brat and dad just snapped! Or was it for insurance money!

I really believe that Paul assaulted the housekeeper causing injuries leading to her death. Both Paul and Maggie were heard on the 911 call. Satterfield's children said her injuries were inconsistent and too extensive for a trip and fall.

Dick Harpootlian and Jim Griffin went to court with Paul and regardless of Mallory s death, stood up and declared his innocence.
No surprise that they were Alex s dick boy attorneys in his murder trial. Disgusting.

I really do think that the firm he worked for were more aware of the financial embezzlement than they are making out, they were all probably involved at one time or another, probably didn't take it as far as Alex did.
