A superhero movie might seem like a guarantee, but there are plenty of vigilantes that never managed to recoup their production costs. These heroes couldn't save their own movies at the box office. Grafferty: Super hero tiredness is settin. people are fed up of it it s not really acting is it? If you are in front of a green screen? Disney has ruined it and Warner aswell for copying them. to much stuff just being thrown out and we r ment to applaud and next product. f off will ya

I enjoyed Dark Phoenix
What I like the most about the X-Men movies is the fact that they never tried to follow the MCU's formula or its tropes, especially after it became a trend
They never relied on nostalgia, the tone always kept consistent, and they always focused on the present
And Dark Phoenix kept that way
They kept their sense of individuality. Even the score was different in each movie
Plus, I found Simon Kinberg's direction pretty solid
He was able to give the movie an identity of its own, rather than trying to replicate Bryan Singer's direction
Unlike Brett Ratner tried to do in The Last Stand

Imagine how awesome and successful comic book movies would be if they actually followed the source material faithfully. Superman (1978, Spider-Man (2002) and Watchmen (2008) are fantastic comic book films because they followed the source material almost perfectly. These three films have serious obvious flaws but are the best film adaptations of comic books ever made. The MCU cannot hold a candle to any of them.

I believe an issue with hero movie sequels is that a significant element of what drove a character's popularity is their original villains. A hero concept with crappy villains never makes it off the ground, while new villains for long beloved heroes rarely stack up to pre-existing ones in the minds of most audience members.

I went to see THE FLASH movie because of Andy Muschietti
I love when horror directors make superhero movies
And despite everything that caused it to bomb, I had a really good time watching it
I think Muschietti did a great job, and I'm really looking forward to see his take on the DCU's Brave and the Bold

Suicide Squads suck. Will Smith had the most screen time and he didn't fit that role of Deadshot, Wonder Woman 84 the movie suck the plot had no mean, and it was confusing

For better or for worse
I'll always prefer the X-Men over the MCU
Because even the bad movies have something good to offer
Something better than the MCU

Wonder Woman 1984 is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It was insufferable garbage. Its failure wasn't because of the pandemic--it was just horrible.

Shut up crime! I love Super! It wasn't perfect but it was really fun to watch. It didn't hold back in depicting violence and the performances were great.
