Other fact is about dogs, they were been fully seen unlike their masters, and unlike forest animals that are good and can talk, dogs appear as brainless killers, in movie they are animated by retta Scott, she did realy good job, and prob only time when we see actualy dog group of disney being in variants not being in singular color, also in their eyes, there are 3 dog variants along with some subvariants to call, brown, with black squash marks on back and yellow legs, and other 2 are grey and black, also there is different eye colors, brown and black ones have white with black ball, but grey ones have black with white balls making them creepier, they are not villains just skilled and born predators following instincts, much like monstro in pinocchio

The fact that interested me the most was that the movie was made during ww2. The movie was apparently banned in Germany due to political allegory on the treatment of Jews in Europe'. surprisingly, the movie was Disney's 5th full-length animated film. I also heard there was a book about Bambis children. The fandom website said that Bambi 3 will come out in 2024 but idk if its true

Bambi Fact 6: Walt invented a whole new camera technique, the multi plane camera, for Bambi's deep forest shots. It was initially tested in the short The Old Mill and tested for the big screen in some shots for Pinocchio before the extensive work in Bambi. Walt was the ultimate storyteller and was always looking to make things better than the last go 'round.

I have a great Halloween idea. When kids come to your door, wear a plaid shirt, a hunting jacket if you have one, and carry a gun and/or plush deer. When someone asks who you are, say you're the worst Disney villain in history, the hunter who shot Bambi's mother. The other way to go is dress up like a pilgrim and look horrified every time you see a witch.

Bambi: emotionally scarring children for 3+ generations! Don't get me wrong, I love the movie, but my God!
Also Disney purposely made Bambi's mom's death off camera to make more of an impact. Even though they had actually animated Bambi coming back to the meadow and finding his dead mother. Disneys own daughters were traumatized!

Bambi is one of my favorite Disney movies and one of my favorite movies overall. I also like the book by Felix Salten. My favorite part of Bambi is the part where Bambi is a fully grown buck and he sees Faline again as a fully grown doe and falls in love with her.
