they say arya 'became' dark. but she has always had fiery darkness in her. what makes her the most loveable character of the series is that she has passion and love going along with that darkness - she is equally fierce and unrelenting in her love. she makes it obvious for jon snow and her father, but later we see how she weeps for her mother and brother just as hard. she loves sansa no less, standing by her sister's side, believing in and trusting her under very dicey circumstances. arya is singular by nature yet she shows the ability to recognize gray areas in life, when she truly forgives the hound. they say vicissitudes made her cold and cruel, but that's how objective people are often viewed. she is unbending to a clinical degree (how she treats the both haqar and the walder cunt) but she is also humane (her horror when the red witch told her she would take many lives, and her passion for gendry when she jumps him, has a wicked albeit dry sense of humour, respects skill (her demand of brienne to spar with her, and she is often illogical (her fondness for the helpless hot pie) and kind too (when she thanks hot pie for calling her attractive, even though that is the last thing she thinks about herself. there are those who despise her and those who love her. there should be no between, that is what befits this magnificent character.

Yeah every scene she's in is spectacular. I'm totally impressed with the child actors. The evil boy king did such a fantastic job you couldn't help but loathe him. It's like you believe that's really who and how they are. And I thought my great grandmother was silly for believing professional wrestling was real when she watched in 1962. She screamed at the characters on the TV thinking they could hear her. I was only Abt 2 or 3 but I remember how much she loved me and I loved her. Anyway, these young actors and phenomenal. I can't wait to see their future work.

Over many years I have watched many powerful and dangerous female characters. Arya Stark is by far the most dangerous of all. The innocent look hides the ferocity she brings to killing. Exchanging hands and stabbing the Night King is a truly stunning fight. Rare to see a character that descends into the depth of violence then manages to regain her self and her humanity. Amazing writing, directing and above all acting.

I'm glad the Night King was not one of them. It was the worst ending. Waited for that Jon Snow vs Night King showdown and Night King fall like that, it was weak writing. It's like in The Dark Knight, Alfred (Michael Caine) kills the Joker (Heath Ledger) at the end instead of Batman (Christian Bale. She was awesome but that was weak to end the unbeatable force of the nightwalkers.

Not having seen the show so I dont know what Arya did before this so from watching the scene I get the whole face thing. What I want to know is did Arya kill some poor innocent girl so that she could use her face as a disguise?
reply

for me personally, there is something more than just a kickass moment when she said a girl is arya stark of winterfell, and i'm going home'.
it's kickass + some level of emotional thingy. .. .. can't put my fingers on it.

Arya was my second favorite character after Jon Snow. She was a scared little girl who transformed into a badass killing machine. Maybe she will make a showing north of the wall if the proposed Jon Snow spinoff makes it.

I think Arya killing the Night King and thereby saving the world from an undead apocalypse probably should have ranked on the list somewhere or at the very least been one of the honorable mentions.
reply

I think her number 1 most badass moment was wiping out house Frey
When people ask what happened here tell them the north remembers tell them winter came for house frey

reply

When ever someone called her Lady Stark she would say I'm not a lady because she worships the one true God of death and knows to tell him not today when death is near
reply

Did anyone notice that when Arya used the face to pretend to be a servant of Waldo, she had to have killed the innocent girl to get that face.
reply

In the beginning I rooted for Daenerys, but then as the episode went on, Arya Stark and Jon Snow became my favourite character.
reply

Leave one wolf alone and the sheep are never safe. Tell them the North remembers. Tell them winter came for the house Frey
reply

I'm sorry, but her BEST badass moment was when she killed the Night King. I didn't see it coming until just as it happened.
reply

After so long, here I am. Your line up is pretty good and on point. However, where does killing the night king come in at?

Stop talking and voicing over Game of Thrones clips. Stop using your kindergarten crayons to destroy masterworks. Thanks.

The best Arya moment was when she killed the head White Walker and ended the battle between the living and the dead
