So. I'm gonna drop a bombshell because I just noticed that Rory was 32 in the revival. The Revival ISN'T CANON. Let me explain before you go nuts. It was established in Season 1 Episode 18: The Third Lorelai, that Rory has a TRUST FUND. Rory gets access to the trust fund when she turns 25. She would have turned 25 in between 1-2 years after she graduated from Yale. It is impossible for Rory's life, in the revival, to be such a mess because she would have had 7 years to learn and get used to managing such a small fortune that could have made her grow up to be more stable, and honestly, make her whole being broke situation non existent. I highly doubt that so many people around her would have let her blow through a small fortune in just 7 years. Specially not Richard, since it's his beloved mother who set up the trust fund for Rory and it would be impossible for him to sit back and watch Rory waste his mothers money. He would most likely be the one to teach her and help her set up some form of financial portfolio to make her dream life more sustainable. And Richard is supposed to only have died at the beginning of the Revival, giving him plenty of time to influence Rory about financial matters. So Rory becoming the entitled millennial we see in the Revival is just ludicrous. It would be more realistic and believable to find Rory embracing a life that was actually closer to the life that Emily and Richard built for themselves, but with a more modern independence, than the mess we were given in the Revival. The only thing I would agree with is her failure in becoming a journalist because her choice in career always felt like it mostly stemmed from the fact that she dreamed of traveling all over the world and had a deep enjoyment of writing and literature. Actually, she would have made an amazing educator.

I think one thing that people haven't really thought about in relation to the continuation of the show is that one of the conflicts of the story was that Rory wasn't Lorelei she kind of liked getting to explore this world of wealth but could still remain skeptical of it. I think this can also be shown by how Lorelei really found her life it the epitome of a small town where as Rory loves to travel and explore new places and just learn as much as she can. Logan and Rory really show this difference because while it may look like its just a repeat of Chris and Lorelei its not, Rory is not as independent as her mother because of how she was raised she likes being taken care of because she has been surrounded by this close community that is always there for each other all her life. This isn't a bad thing she is just different. Plus Logan is much more stable than Chris because he was allowed to grow up and mature himself without having the hug responsibility of a kid. Now I don't know what could have happened that would have made him go from building himself up in SF on his own to working with his father again but I'm pretty confident that he would drop the whole dynastic plan if he knew Rory was pregnant.

I agree with all of this, Logan needs to decide is pleasing his father the best thing for him even though he'll be severely unhappy, Rory's future wasn't really well adapted at all minus the book. I wish she could've had more of a defined working career with all of the connections she had from her college & her family. And We all know Logan was the father of Rory's baby which I still find it odd they were like Oh who do you think it is? When. Rory didn't really care about her bf at the time. She had had an affair w/ Logan. And that was the only man lol. I think I'd like to see Jess & Rory Get together. Logan is never gonna not try to please his father so he's a lost cause but Jess & Rory make the most sense. I'd like to see a Gilmore girls spin-off that focuses more on Rory's life since I'm pregnant. I'd kind of like to see a different turn where the baby's father steps up and they get (happily) married. Rory decides to teach at Chilton after all, and while there discovers and develops her strengths. Her adult married life is a cross between Loreli and Emily; upper class but down to earth and not snobbish and controlling. I definitely think Logan is the father. The Wookie happened in spring, and she announced her pregnancy in the fall, so at minimum, she would be about 13 weeks along. She kept forgetting Paul, so I doubt there was much intimacy. We know she was sleeping with Logan. It's slightly possible it could have been Jess, but nothing suggests they were together at all that I can remember.

I've been watching the show for 20 years now maybe more I was in middle school when I saw this show! And I needed a good job the revival! But Sorry people Gilmore isn't Disney and life sucks! We may never know who the father of Rory's baby! But if I had to guess, I think it's Logan! It's definitely not Dean or Jess! But I love the ending of Emily and And Lorelei and Luke did get the happy ending that we all were waiting for! And you know what's funny if it came back around the whole story of Lorelei and Rory by her good! Amy said she wanted to leave the baby daddy a cliffhanger! And remember that scene where rory is talking to her dad and asking why he didn't fight for her like custody and all the other stuff I think that gave us a good hint that it was gonna be just like her mom!

I think the real twist will be that Rory got pregnant through a sperm donor, knowing she was in her 30's, old enough to raise a child on her own. Rory's romantic life did not give her the stable husband/father figure at that time. Paris oversees the medical and legal aspects of the insemination. That would be a full circle moment for Rory to actively choose to be a single parent like her Mom. I would guess that maybe Luke and Lorelai wouldn't have a child of their own, but would help to parent Rory's kid when she is traveling for work.

I really don't want to recreate Lorelai's life through Rory, i want Rory to end up Logan, even though Logan is engaged with Odet he doesn't really love her, he loves Rory that's why he made her the suprise and offered the keys of his family's house to write her book, People only like Jess because he is matture now but when they had relationship he tryed to rape her at the party and his behaviour was shit towards to her and lied to her many times

I wld hope if the show does come back Rory make a positive change and become a better person while still being her own person she wants to be. I'm not saying she has to be high school Rory and stays there since people do change and they don't stay that person forever but there is an evolution of being the better person in a different and positive day.

Anyone else wondering if Rory's baby daddy is Jess? It is possible. The show doesn't show them getting together, but they do cross paths enough that it could have happened.
My biggest hope for character development is for Rory to grow up in her intimacy. One relationships at a time with someone who is available. I wonder if we will ever see more?

I was soooo happy when Emily finally broke with the D. A. R. Not just the club, but her whole unhealthy lifestyle (not saying its unhealthy for other people just for her. It just made me so proud. Also on the fall episode at the end with Emily I cried. It was sad but beautiful.

Anybody remember the part in A year in a life where rory tells Lorelai that she slept with a wookie? I also watched a video on Matt/Logan being interveiwed and he was asked if he was the father, he said it was not him but that was all that he could say.
