I can't get behind that Joey and Monica were gunna end up the couple.
Monica and Chandler definitely work better. Even in the first seasons they had a bit of chemistry.
More so then Ross/Rachel.
Rewatching it. I do not see the chemistry as much with Ross and Rachel. But more then Joey and Monica.
I saw more chemistry with Rachel and Joey.
Although I do wish that they would have just had Ross and Rachel together after they had a kid.
I think they really ruined the last seasons with the will they/wont they nonsense.
It makes me laugh cause rewatching it. they really were not together much during the 10 seasons.
Oh and they were broken up when Ross slept with the xerox girl.

I'm heading over to Ross's to get back together.

You forgot a few other facts.
1) When Rachel and Ross are breaking up because Ross slept with someone else, the tears they shead were 100% real. They said that scene was so heart breaking to the point they were actually crying while filming it.
2) In the very last episode, when Chandler asked where after Rachel asks if they want to get a coffee. Yes it was a joke because everyone knew they would go to Central perk, but it is sad at the same time since that set was torn down to make the scene when Ross and Phoebe run into the airport so Ross can admit his love for Rachel as she gets on the plane anyways.
Those facts are very true and I'm a bit surprised you guys forgot to mention them.

All offense, but The reason the show was as hated as it was loved was because of Rachel. A overly privileged drama queen who had to be told by House that yes. on a break means all expectation of fidelity are off. and her behavior was just as much infidelity as his was. The show was good, but from that moment on, people wanted Rachel to end up alone if she didn't get it. They wrote her getting it for the fact that they committed too much to the Rachel - Ross story. and fans would have been enraged if Rachel got what she deserved.

Is it wrong that I think Joeschel was better than Roschel? I think that, yeah Roschel was iconic but what Joeschel had was very comfortable & affectionate. I mean because Joey was in love for the first time with Rachel. If the show had lasted longer, Ross & Rachel would have probably broken up or not. But I love both of them.
Also Joey should have gotten his special ending because he was the only one left single with no change in his life.

I can actually imagine phoebe being a side character like Gunther or Janice. Not so much Chandler though. I think its because it felt like to me that phoebe was left out a lot like sometimes they would just forget about her. While Chandler was just always there it seemed like. I could just imagine phoebe playing her music at central perk coming to talk the gang being herself or them running into her in public like they always do with Janice.

I don't think the fact that Chandler and Phoebe weren't supposed to be main characters is true, cuz as we can see in the opening where the actors' names are written, Chandler and Phoebe's name aren't the last, so.
And even if it's true, it only proves how amazing actors they are that the writers were forced to make them main characters.

I liked Ross and Rachel in the beginning but then I literally fell in love with Monica and Chandler in my opinion Phoebe Joey and Monica Chandler made more sense! No hate to Ross and Rachel but I think their relationship was just too complicated to end in a happy way

No wonder Ross and Rachel were cast as the main love couple, being they actually had feelings for each other in real life, their chemistry was sky high. And yes, didn't like Rachel and Joey at all. As for Chandler and Joey, my all time favorite roomies.

idk about the rest but the first one is not true according to the one writers/directors lady, she said in the new reunion special that they took names from their friends and family, as the show was inspired by their life in their 20s

Incorrect about how the main characters were named. According to the reunion released yesterday, they were named after people they new. Kauffmann said chandler was named after her friend chandler.
