Is it possible to get a Mojo filter, so I never accidentally press a video from them again? The narrator ruins every scene when she talks and explains why the scene is moving. Scenes like this needs no explanation - we feel the emotion - that is the whole point.

To be fair, for number 7, I think the final episode was emotionally happy. Its showing that even though Wills gonna move out and live life on his own and miss his family, theyll always be with him in his heart. Also, Carlton making Will laugh did the trick, too.

This show for me was extremely well balanced. It was funny. It was silly. It was warm and yet it got serious when it needed to be and showcased some brilliant acting in the course of it's 6 year run. I really miss old TV. Thank God for syndication.

I could never imagine abandoning a kid. If and when I become a parent, I'll be there for every diaper change, 2 hour feeding, runny nose, and nightmare, as well as all the milestones. I REFUSE to be a no good deadbeat parent.
reply

it would be nice if we could hear what they acutally say and not hear the womens voice saying and then will says that he wants X. but then the other man replies Y. just let them speak and not tell us what they are saying.

The fact that wills dads actually left 8f when he was a kid just makes me wonder what it's like but then I remember I have a dad that didn't leave me but but 6 years of my life he wasn't there then he act like he cares.
reply

That scene where Will's dad leaves again that whole end of the episode i felt because I am growing up with out a dad I first watched this entire show when I was 9 I am currently 16 almost 17 in 4 months
reply

I just realized the kid playing ball could actually throw a baseball (in his restraint from throwing it hard) but in actual movies about baseball the players look like they just learned how to throw a baseball
reply

The most emotional part was when wills dad left again, uncle phil actually told him, now thats thats how you act. That show was the kick start to will smiths acting career, hes an absolute legend hands down
reply

The how come he dont want me man is heartbreaking but can we just talk about how amazing the WHOLE monologue was? God, when he yells TO HELL WITH HIM i just cry, man. Its such an amazing line.
reply

Fresh Prince was a hell of a show for a lot of reasons. But being able to be emotional invested is one of the strongest reasons we remember it enjoyably. It was a good well rounded show.

To learn will smith improvised the scene that sits at number 1 gives me more respect for this talented actor and reminds me why he sits with Robin Williams as one of my favorite actors.
reply

what you said about number 2 sadly nothing has changed. Unfortunately I have to agree with you. what is more sad is that I don't think it will ever change. Racisms will always exist.
reply

I recently watched #2 and it sent chills down my spine. Here was a series who showed it all ages ago. Yet the BLM movement rose because those problems still exists.
reply

When I saw Wil Smith in this episode with his father. I was like wow! It was the start of his coming out party! Talented. I cried so hard. A true talented actor
reply

That last one was the cherry on top. But I also want to giggle when Uncle Phil knocks the cap off his head.
Who told you to wear that damn cap in this scene.

reply

I like your stuff but couldn't you just let the scenes play rather than cutting in with explanations given that they're self explanatory?
reply

I loved when will gets mad at hes uncle and then he crys after that I always loved will smith songs thats my favorite most about him
reply

#1 is a killer and so well acted - it's next level. James pushed Will too to make the scene as good as it was. Pure chemistry.
reply

In the wills father episode, uncle Phil's acting is so good, you get how angry he is with lou all the actors are always spot on
reply

That episode when uncle Phil has heart attack hits hard now because James Avery died from heart attack. Rest in peace James.

Because were their parents despite how much he drove him crazy, uncle Phil really thought of Will as a son
reply

That last clip that was actual real emotion, the speech was real and the hug was real no acting on that part.
