So happy to see the weeding dress from the Sound of Music was first. I first watched another video about the best wedding dresses in historical movies and started thinking about Maria's wedding dress in Sound of Music. Then I saw this video, and was hoping that at least Maria's dress would be in it. I remember the first time I watched Sound of Music and the wedding dress captivated me. At the time I thought is was the most beautiful wedding dress I'd ever seen. The long veil was breathtaking.

I was surprised that The Sound of Music was number one because its my favorite, and I never seem to agree with fashion experts. I would have had Padme's as number 2, though, not just an honorable mention. A lot of people are mentioning Princess Mia, but I actually never liked that gown. I prefer the coronation gown in that movie, which I think is fitting because in that movie the happy ending wasn't her getting married, it was her getting her crown.

No list like this that doesn't include Elizabeth Taylor's gown, from Father of the Bride, is a complete one. It didn't even make honorable mention. Only three gowns from before the 80s shows that all they cared about was relatively modern movies.

it would have been nice if the dresses were better to see. I cant make much of what most of them look like. big dissapointment. you make a video about the dresses, then show them properly so you get a good look at them.

So basically if the dress was acurate to the time the movie takes place, then it is memorable? No, half of those dresses I never thought twice about, but some I still remember, the Hunger Games dress being one of them.
