When will Ms Mojo learn the audience that watches their video clips, would watch many more, if it weren't for the interminable and insufferable commentary that totally destroys any appreciation of the clips shown? The musicality, intimacy, and passion of the Tango, and the brilliant artists performing it, speaks for itsef in this example - or at least it should. It does not need to be drowned out by the vacuous voice over we have to put up with.

What about the filmTango Bar? Some of the best authentic Tango dancers in Buenos. Airies, starring Raoul Julia. The tango dance in Easy Virtue by Colin Firth & Jennifer Biels is smoldering. Then there is the exquisite authentic Buenos Aires tango scenes in the film in which Robert Duvall plays a hired assassin on a job in Argentina (name escapes me.

What a pity you talked over the parts where you said we could almost hear something. tango is to be watched and listen to not talked over. and didn't you say that the dance had to be a legitimate tango and not a hybrid? Most of your choices were exactly that. not legitimate tango

The tango in Easy Virtue with Jessica Biel and Colin Firth should have been in the top 10.
Sunset, Bruce Willis does a very nice tango.
Take the Lead, the competition dance where 3 of them dance was better.

I agree.
Totally.
Tango scene in Moulin Rouge is another level of everything.
Roxanne's tango is a absolute masterpiece.
Thanks Mr Baz Luhrman for your generous contribution to the pop culture.

My favourite Tango Moments will always be Scent of the Woman & Moulin Rouge. I always smiles at them. But Number 10 along with #3, Frida and Angelina (she's gorgeous BTW) with Brad are great also.

I'm happy my country is reprepresented by the beauty that is Tango, I hope everyone enjoys ( specially those who love to dance but might break a hip ) As an Argentinian i'm sooo not taking it!

A lot of the comments here are people thinking that paso doble, flamenco and tango are the same thing
That's ok obviously, but it's funny to see it as a person who does ballroom and Latin

Take the Lead wins by a landslide! Have you ever seen a woman worship this guy so much that she grooves him right on the dance floor, right in front of those kids. saying. this is my man.

Too many words a too little dance in this video. The movies episodes are too short with constant commenting, so it's impossible not only to enjoy the dance but at least see it's beauty

two women dancing tango is nothing but hilarious. You cannot expect at woman to know what it means to have 30x the testosterone level of a women. Cannot be falsified by a women.

It's a shame that the Zorro dance scene with Catherine Zeta Jones and Antonio Banderas isn't technically a tango otherwise it should be included.
reply

For me the commentary explaining the reasons for the choice is important and enlightening. The comments criticising the commentary are annoying.
