Victorious VS iCarly: Battle of the Nickelodeon Sitcoms

Leading lady - Carly, its a close one cause there are things I like and dislike about both girls. Carly is better written, though, I dont like how they tried to push the idea of Tori being the best into our throats, also, her kissing Cats boyfriend. My least favorite thing about Carly is that shes usually fine with Sams treatment of Freddie. and all the other people but especially Freddie cause theyre supposed to be best friends! I also dont like she manipulated Freddie into doing what she wants and she annoyed me when she turned out to be a little bit spoiled in the episode where Spencer didnt allow her to do something probably for the first time, lol. But characters need flaws of course! My favorite of Carly is that shes not quite as tough as Sam, afraid of getting beaten up and sometimes not too brave - I can relate to all of that.
I dont dislike Tori, though, shes not as bad as others say she is.
Supporting cast - hands down Victorious! First of all, I like how big it is. Second of all, the supporting cast is sooo interesting, even if not likeable, surely funny and iconic. Theres not a single character I hate, they all bring something to the show. Third of all, I love Cat with all my hart, shes the only Nickelodeon character that I count as one of my favorite fictional characters so of course the point goes for Victorious. I like Spencer a lot, I like Freddie and usually Gibby but my huge dislike for Sam is the other thing that keeps me from choosing iCarlys supporting cast.
Running gags - I find Victorious a funnier show.
Music - I mean, is that even a question? Victorious!
Show premise - hmm, iCarly maybe?
In conclusion, 3: 2 for Victorious. And yep, I think this show is better but each to their own.

A part of me really wants to say iCarly since it was my favorite of the 2 as a kid but if Im looking at them now I think I would actually pick Victorious, because now that Im older I feel like the humor in Victorious was a little more mature, yeah it had some goofiness to it as well but its humor was a lot more calm and subtle, such as things like Jades sad little breakdown when she realizes she sweats or the funny yet also morbid stories of Cats brother, iCarly had a lot of good humor too but admittedly it was a lot more childish compared to Victorious, there was a lot more emphasis on being loud and goofy, whether youre talking about things like the weird, nonsensical skits on iCarly or Spencer always setting things on fire, which were still funny in its own right but at the same time it was dumber than the kind of humor Victorious had, it kinda reminded me of when I went back and rewatched all of Good Luck Charlie after so long, when I rewatched that show I realized just how amazing it truly was, because it was a show that did have some goofiness as it was still a Disney sitcom but it was one that also never got TOO goofy, it also had its fair share of mature moments which made me like the show even more all these years later than I did as a kid, so honestly even though my nostalgia wants me to say that iCarly is better if Im being honest I think Victorious has actually held up a lot better than iCarly

Disney has a monopoly of power on who they represent and what sort of mental struggles they deal with, seemingly the actors playing teens are older than the characters, this kept going down to where young actors deal with younger issues, in a way still adapting to the times, Mileys goodbye to Hannah was he coming to a crossroads and choosing which life would make her happy. (Staying with lily)
Nicks live action stories were there. Icarly being a window to random kids just like you (showing a submitted random kid video at the end of the original episodes) but the purpose changed as the characters grew
Victorious was doomed from the start relating to someone who wants to become a pop star, we already got Hannah, so tori kept fumbling her way to the top ( really frustrated me how she always had to be right and how everything worked in her favour; ping pong; make it in America
Jade deserved a better story, cat too. And Andre for sure needs to be the late popstar/ tvstar that is this generations new role model. All those with really cool history we want to explore.

To be honest victorious shouldn't have existed it was just a huge mistake for victoria justice when her career in the future ended in a flop instead of successful the only 1 who became successful is Ariana Grande(i mean she was already going to be successful even without victorious, the rest wasn't

While watching both shows as a teenager again I can say that I prefer Victorious by far. It's funnier, the characters are much better and it's much more unique. The character dynamics are really memorable. And something about the 'dream school' and the 'best friend circle' really caught my attention unlike any other show.

I prefer ICarly over Victorious between those two Nickelodeon live action sitcoms, but I actually like Tori Vega better than Carly Shay really because of Victoria Justice being a great actress, and she's honestly more relatable. Though Miranda Cosgrove is still an amazing actress too, and even at singing.

Which one is better. Well Ill say this victorious has a great cast, some of the episodes were cringy, Icarly has a great concept of keeping things real. Thats why I have to say its the better show. But cant argue with the cast. I feel like icarly just has a different vibe that victorious dosent

In conclusion we find out dan Schneider loves having brunettes as the main characters in team sitcoms.
All jokes aside I think icarly was more entertaining, victorious was also good. But I would do Iparty with victorious is the best

I prefer Victorious as a show but I'm more emotionally attached to icarly because I was watching it for longer and it really reminds me of my childhood. I think i will choose victorious but I love both so much.

I personally loved ICarly a bit more because of comedy nostalgia and humor but Victorious was a better show in terms of stories and content. Plus I feel it was more aimed at teenagers.

Victorious has much better songs but icarly has much better quality and is much funnier. Icarly had a much better ending and a proper one. Victorious had a very poor ending.
