West Side Story should be at least #2. Hairspray should not even be on the list. What happened to shows like Oklahoma. Carousel. Gypsy and alot of the other 40's-60's musicals. I have not seen Hamilton or Les Miserables live yet. Can'y afford $300 or better for tickets. Find someone in there 50's-60's to pick the best because you 20yr olds don't know much about Broadway before the middle of the 90's. Find somebody who knows to pick your lists.

I know that the basis of what makes a show good is subjective, and that this show had only been on Broadway for less than a year at the time this video was posted, but I just have to ask, how is Dear Evan Hansen not on this list? In the very least I feel it deserves to be an honorable mention. Maybe that's just me, being the target audience for a show like this (gen z, but I also know I can't be the only one. Like if you agree.

Hamilton needs to be more accurate, otherwise it's just silly. Chicago needs to be an all drag show-too much fish at one time. If your suffering from any kind of depression condition; DON'T go see rent, you'll be cutting your own wrist by the end of the first act. Way way too depressing. If I want to young peoples problem, I'd hang around young people. !

Sorry but Show Boat should have been listed. In 1927 it was just as revolutionary as wear Side Story, RENT or Hamilton. Every Broadway show owes a debt to Show Boat. Without the revolution of storytelling Show Boat presented instead of the follies type of shows that prevailed at that time, there wouldnt be Broadway as we know it today!

You should've mentioned the 1969 Broadway musical 1776. I have never the the live musical, but what I've heard about it, it was a very good Broadway show. I have the 1972 movie version of the Broadway on Blu-ray.

The best musical Ive seen while underrated but really awesome is Jekyll and Hyde its a great interpretation of a story that otherwise gets the short end of the stick and David Hasselhoff truly managed to play the parts of both Jekyll and Hyde extremely well

P. S. How can you rate A Chorus LIne & Cats in the top 10. Neither one had any story. You left out one of the best fun shows in Mamma Mia. You also left out The Wiz, Grease, Aladdin and Mary Poppins. Shame on you. Who picked your top 10? A12 yr old.

People who say that Cats is weird need to know that it won 10 Olivier Awards, ran on Broadway for more than 15 years, had over 7, 000 performances, and got a movie adaptation.
