I don't understand some of the people on this comment board. All our country does is complain about how we don't get paid what we should for the work that we do. And, here you see one of the reasons that supports that idea on why that is, yet people want to say, No, that's not true. You can't have it both ways people. Either we get paid exactly what we should, or something is screwed up.

You can't ignore the issue of unequal pay especially with actresses like Natalie Portman who has had an incredible reputation since infancy was getting paid 3 times less than Ashton Kutcher for the same work! Both men and women should be involved in resolving this, women are just as important in the workforce as men as we have proven this many times over and over again!
reply

Wow! the comment seccion on this video is so sad. It's incredible the amount on men who would do anything before supporting women, especially on things that don't affect them at all. There are a lot of cases where women get paid less than their male collegues for doing the same work, is not just in Hollywood.
reply

There is no such thing as equality! There will always be someone quicker, smarter or more experienced than you. Instead of talking about pay gaps let's talk about being paid what your worth. Man or woman; black or white. None of it will matter. Stop comparing yourself to others and fight for yourself.

Women's Fair Pay Law: Women get more money no matter what for no damn reason whatsoever, And men must work TRIPLE the amount of work to make not even the same amount and then give half of that money to a woman for (once again) NO REASON WHATSOEVER OTHER THAN JUST BEING A WOMAN!
reply

The gender pay gap is not a real thing. Its simply the average earnings of men and women. Look at the male dominated industries and the female dominated industries. Feminism achieved so much during first and second wave. Why are we tainting it with BS like this?

Should've titled this Top Ten Retards Who Don't Understand That The Wage Gap Is Fake And Has Been Debunked By Every Economist EVER! Also name me one right you don't have that I have? Cause I as a male can easily list five rights I don't have that you do.
reply

The. wage. gap. does. not. exist.
When you take into account the fact that women tend to choose jobs that pay less, work fewer hours, and take more time off than men, the difference between the genders disappears.

Wow I was gonna sarcastically comment that the pay gap wasn't real until I saw all these actual people who seem legitimately convinced it's a lie and pissed MsMojo did this video

Oh yay, millionaires complaining they're not rich enough. Sorry if you're not the box office draw or you didn't work as many days as your co-star, my recommendation is to get over it

USA started the myth which has spread to the rest of the world aswell. And that's when these dumb man hating feminazis took the opportunity for an excuse to why they are poor.

Hey! I'm male and I was sticking-up for women back in the eighties at places like Wal-Mart. H#l! I got fired at one place! No one pats me on the back! Celebs!

Sick of seeing these female celebs whining since they make ridiculous amounts of money when I can barely pay my rent and bills as a Respiratory Therapist.
reply

I think if females want to be treated equally they shouldnt hit a guy and then scream bloody murder when he hits back. But we all know that wont ever happen.
reply

look, if the gender wage gap was real then every female worker would be complaining, this is either the employers being jerks or something else
reply

The Equal Pay Act from 1963, signed by John F. Kennedy makes it illegal to pay a woman less than a man for the same job within a work establishment.
reply

Jennifer Lawrence doesn't really get a say. she is one of the top paid actresses in hollywood. She gets more movies than anyone in her realm
reply

And there is no glass ceiling. Men and women just make different decisions Bc men and women operate differently biologically.
reply

I think your payment depends on your work it depends on how much does it need and how many days you have to do
